Hey, taxing them a little more really shouldn't be this big of a deal, when it can have enormous benefits to the country as a whole. They have every right to earn billions of dollars and spend it as they see fit, but they need to be taxed accordingly... it really won't damage their pocketbooks and they still have the right to spend their cash on giant flying golden toilets or whatever they want... or bathe in nickels, I really don't care, I love capitalism, but to suggest those that control most of the money shouldn't pay a higher percentage of tax seems a bit ridiculous.

But that is the problem. The tax system is a fraudulent one. The tax system was not created to benefit us.

We should care because the money they make is mainly circulating or stagnating at the top through financial instruments, cash hording, dividend payouts, executive pay, etc. If the wealthy were using their income to innovate and build (causing money to circulate to working people) I doubt there would be much outcry as Americans are, at least relative to European countries, very tolerant of inequality.

Yes, either employers pay their workers enough of a wage to buy healthcare for themselves or they need to provide it. You do realize it's cheaper when it is purchased for groups...you know...like a company staff. No...you prob don't realize that.

They don't just pass them, they write them. In many cases politicians or political appointees come directly from and/or return to companies for which they wrote and passed laws (www.washingtonpost.com... ). To think that you can divorce incentive from action is to underestimate man's ability to justify his actions. To fix an incentives issue by replacing those taking advantage, without modifying the incentives, is unlikely to succeed for any length of time.
