Are you in any way connected to this girl? Like any donations she gets, you get?

Money is often the strongest motive, so thats why I ask.

Are my posts threatening because it ruined todays donation drive?

Great story OP, thanks. It was also fun watching the kids argue about this. I don't believe the title was made to be taken literally. It may be a poor analogy, but, there you have it. It doesn't take away from this girl.
