not sure it may have been a trap im so glad i closed it and walked away but what if

sometimes i feel that we are set up for failure, like in this case what if the machine was like them bait cars

IMO taking the money is only fair if you or your family is starving to death or in dire need of medical treatment that you can't afford. You sound like you're alright though

Seriously, I would have notified the Sheriff, something could have happened to the service person… you never know???
