ScienceDaily (Nov. 19, 2012) — The structure of the universe and the laws that govern its growth may be more similar than previously thought to the structure and growth of the human brain and other complex networks, such as the Internet or a social network of trust relationships between people, according to a new paper published in the science journal Nature's Scientific Reports.

"By no means do we claim that the universe is a global brain or a computer," said Dmitri Krioukov, co-author of the paper, published by the Cooperative Association for Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA), based at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) at the University of California, San Diego. "But the discovered equivalence between the growth of the universe and complex networks strongly suggests that unexpectedly similar laws govern the dynamics of these very different complex systems."

"The most frequent question that people may ask is whether the discovered asymptotic equivalence between complex networks and the universe could be a coincidence," said Krioukov. "Of course it could be, but the probability of such a coincidence is extremely low. Coincidences in physics are extremely rare, and almost never happen. There is always an explanation, which may be not immediately obvious."

Which came first... ? Well, I'd say that it's fairly obvious that one influences the other and no matter what, our networks will reflect those of a higher order. Or not lol.

I would perhaps say that the computer is instead a model of the human brain and not the other way around. The brain or universe isn't a computer; the computer is a man made brain-like machine, merely invented, designed and produced to mimic an organic brain.

Saying otherwise implies that there's some great programmer and we're merely software, which isn't the case. Humans make computers, not the other way around—at least in my opinion.

I agree that the chaotic nature of these systems are similar. But I would think the complexity and almost chaotic structure is based on the complexity of population growth.

We made computers, based on what? Based on the laws of physics and the material we wear given. But who is to say that we individually are not like brain cells for a larger being. We carry and transfer information just as a brain cell does. The body is like a computer in many way's BUT who operates that computer?

My reply was off topic. I apologize.

It will not be long before they discover that the entire universe is being consciously created. Similar in reality to the dreams you have at night. Dreams of adventure, exploration, thrills and suspense.

Those who reject Creation believe in evolution. This belief leads men to envision a future whereby man will "evolve" into a higher being. This thought is so prevalent today across a multitude of religions and cults - Freemasonry, Hinduism, New Age, Islamic Shi'ite, occult, ufology, Kabalahism, Mormonism, apostate Christianity. It is called by many different names: 
"ascension"
"spiritual awakening"
"global consciousness"
"spiritual evolution"
"the Christ consciousness"
"evolution of consciousness"
"the divinity within"
"dimensional uplift"
"transhuminism"
"post humanism"

Without exception, every one of these beliefs is expounded upon by the spirit world, from various spirits calling themselves ascended masters, spirit guides or extraterrestrials. All extoll the coming day when man will become part of the "global consciousness", an evolution to  his primeval 'Adam' divine state - in other words - god hood.

These 'scientific articles' are just preparing the collective for it's acceptance. The serpent promised man ‘godhood’ through knowledge (gnosis). The word serpent comes from the Hebrew word nachash which means to learn something through divination. Post-humanism and Trans-humanism philosphies are simply the modern incarnation of the serpents words for this last generation, the promise of moving from one state to a higher state of being through the acquisition of knowledge.

Having the ability to predict -- let alone trying to control -- the dynamics of complex networks remains a central challenge throughout network science.

In other words, trying to control the human brain is a challenge throughout "network science". Why would these "scientists" strive to control the human brain and equate it to the universe?

This same belief is what drives these "scientists"....the New Age movement...the serpent cults who actively offer mankind the same temptations as in the Garden of Eden. Yet, Our Creator throughout scripture says put your faith and trust in Him to accomplish His will - that our hearts and minds must be transformed by Him. Not many will, unfortunately, as mankind puts its faith in that old serpent instead.

Humanity, in pride in its own power and ability will attempt to achieve what only it's Creator offers. Similar to the Tower of Babel, the Singularity/global consciousness/god hood  movement, despite its intentions, relies solely on human ability to “reach Heaven.” Billions will choose the tree of good and evil, and forever be cut off from the Tree of Wisdom. Jesus told us all that the end will be as in the days of Noah. 

Please guys, look into why the bee and beehive figures so predominantly in these 'mystery' religions. It's "collective consciousness"....and how it ties into the hundreds of 'scientific' articles attempting to tie everything from how we vote and our likes and dislikes to genetics....and how this then ties

Stop thinking of "scientists" as your source of truth, because everything that is passed along in the media is for your indoctrination. Those in charge have already rejected the Creator's salvation, and therefore they understand that the blind will follow them to the pit. Muller's comments will be achievable through science because their scientists will make it happen.
