Your Love

Everyone seems to be posting poems and songs, so I thought I'd give ya one.

This is a poem I wrote very long ago. It is a poetic prayer which I wrote in repentance. It describes anguish in the battle between the soul and the flesh; the yearning of the spirit against the body. This goes to all of you in hope that you can relate.

Sweet Peace,
Sweet Hope,
Sweet melancholic flow.
So sweet,
It seems,
But whispers sorrow.

Loving God!
Loving Lord!
Whom I cease to know.
Your words,
Your ways,
I struggle to follow.

Swift Spirit,
Call swiftly!
My ears do not hear.
Speak loud,
Speak clear,
Make me Your blind seer.
