These men make up a subsection of my gender I like to refer to as morons. They can be observed engaging in equally moronic behaviour in other aspects
of their lives too. For some reason, yet to be established by science, they are completely incapable of interacting society in any kind of normal way.
Respect for other people and their feelings seems to be a concept that their brains are not able to process. When found in packs their behaviour is
only made worse.
In all seriousness I believe that behaviour like this is simply a means of attention seeking. They probably have low self-esteem, stemming from issues
during childhood, either from rejection by their peers or their parents, or both. They probably have a father who engages in the same behaviour, or no
male role model at all. They have also probably never learnt to communicate effectively with the opposite sex, due to lack of exposure, and this can
be seen as their desperate attempt to do so.
They probably don't have any meaningful relationships in their lives, though they might feel that that is how life is supposed to be.
It's quite sad really.
I'm sorry that you have to be exposed to it.
