If you apply this 'propaganda' claim to a real life situation, the argument does not stand up to scrutiny and I'll explain why with an example
which you can think about-
Two videos exist from a CCTV-
1- Show an horrific crime
2- Shows people making out
Now, which one promotes the use of CCTV?
Surely the answer to that question is 1-, how does CCTV footage of two people making out act as CCTV propaganda- my reaction on watching the video was
in fact the opposite, because that is a private act between two people and I don't think a security camera with someone on the other end should be
watching two people kissing. It's borderline voyeurism to watch two people making out without them knowing.
It doesn't promote the use of CCTV in the slightest unless you are a peeping tom.
