This video demonstrates more hate than I have seen in a long while, these people are no better than the other extremists from the other side. They chant about "erasing Gaza!" and how there should be more dead as the number of casualties is not enough to their standards.

Please do not watch if you are easily offended because there is a lot of foul language.

www.youtube.com...#!

I'm not sure how anyone in their right mind could support this type of behavior. To be honest I find it disgusting and it's a sad state of affairs when there is so much hate. There will never be peace when there is so much hate.

I know there are also extremists on the other side who make similar chants so if you want to share some examples please go ahead, but the element of extremism in Israel is on the rise without a doubt. Just because my OP was rather one sided it doesn't mean the whole thread has to be I am totally fine with anyone who wants to counter my opinions and the information I have presented.

Here are a few more examples:

Gilad Sharon the son of Aeriel Sharon.

We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima – the Japanese weren’t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too.

There should be no electricity in Gaza, no gasoline or moving vehicles, nothing. Then they’d really call for a ceasefire.

Were this to happen, the images from Gaza might be unpleasant – but victory would be swift, and the lives of our soldiers and civilians spared.

desertpeace.wordpress.com...

Ben Ari who is a member of the Knesset.

“Brothers! Beloved soldiers and commanders – preserve your lives! Don’t give a hoot about Goldstone! There are no innocents in Gaza, don’t let any diplomats who want to look good in the world endanger your lives[;] at any tiniest concern for your lives – Mow them!,”

desertpeace.wordpress.com...

It seems that a large contingent of Israelis support this operation, I do sympathize with the barrage of rockets they are facing so I will pass complete judgement until I have walked in their shoes, but I do not support the operation and how it is being handled. The comparison is non existent when you put the two together...rockets from Gaza and Israeli air strikes on Gaza.

And before anyone decides to call me an anti-Semite, is this man an anti-Semite? This Rabbi speaks the truth and his words truly moved me.

Let's try and keep this civil please

Here we go. Captain Bias is at it again with his selective posts that depict an extreme minority in attempt to brand a people as a whole.

You seriously want to go there?

How about the hundreds of thousands of Islamic extremists that cheered the death of Americans on 911?

How about the hundreds of thousands of Islamic extremists that form rallies annually on their statutory holidays and openly chant "Death to Israel"?

The extremists are wrong regardless of their religious affiliation.

However, if you want compare the number of extremists on both sides of this conflict, it's not even close, and you know it.

You're so predictable, and your agenda is so blatantly obvious, that it's absolutely disgraceful and pathetic.

Keep it up though. You know damn well that there are likeminded anti-Israel members on ATS who will star and flag your BS, and I'm sure that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Good work champ.

Well at least they aren't dragging the bodies through the streets on display, and to be quite honest I would rejoice if someone was raining rockets on my parade and a few of them got killed. BTW Hamas should change their cowardly ways and stop hiding their rockets in schools, homes, hospitals and mosques??

Even if there is an extreme minority of Israelis that support an aggressive military campaign at all costs, my point still stands.

Are you actually trying to dispute my assertion that there is a far greater percentage of Islamic Extremists that want Israel destroyed?

You must be blind.

Totally agree!
They should move them to their army bases, or place them on their battleships or even to one of their airbases

Here we go. Captain Bias is at it again with his selective posts that depict an extreme minority in attemt to brand a people as a whole.

The thread was blank when you commented so how did you know what I was posting, you based your entire post on the title alone before I even submitted any content into the thread. It shows a lot about your character.

How about you take a few minutes and read the thread and get back to me, and please leave the name calling out of it next time.

How did I know what the tone of your post was going to be?

a) I read your misleading thread title

b) I've been on ATS for a while, and I'm familiar with your posting history

As for name calling, I did no such thing. I was critical of your bias presentation of the situation, and rightfully so.

If your're going to present information in a one sided manner, be prepared to be called out on it.

Bullsh-t. Keep talking out of your ass.

Your jaded opinions don't equate to facts.

Anyone who cares to research this can easily verify that you are wrong.

FYI, the overwhelming majority of Israelis want peace with Gaza, and want no part of a war with Iran.

What part of my title is misleading, it's completely true.

My post history is not relevant to this exact discussion, what is relevant is the information which I have provided yet you refuse to acknowledge in your typical fashion.

And yes you did call me names. You said that I am predictable, that I am agenda driven, and also called me pathetic, while still not acknowledging any of the content in the thread...I think I am seeing a pattern here.

Now I will ask nicely one more time, what are your thoughts about the information I provided, and please respond to the questions I asked you such as why is my title misleading.

Extremism is very ugly no matter which side portrays it.

To be honest Corruption showing a video of a relatively small minority group of what? Maybe a 100+ people pales in comparison to some Countries annual State sponsored "Death to X" chants and rallies which we've all seen but, you're right, the face of Extremism is ugly....

This is what happens when you have extreme right wing governments in power like Israel, and Hamas, it will only end in tears.

But then you have to say the people get the government they deserve, and both sides elected extremist into power, the hatred is too deep for eachother.

Ever noticed in life, sometimes if you put two certain people together, they either create havoc or harmony together but if you separate them they become just normal again..If you know what i mean..either a positive or a negative, Israel and Palestine are a negative connection.

Israel and Palestine need to be separated for there own and everyone else's safety.

Thats my 2 cent.

Yes, extremism is very ugly in all its forms. The video and the other examples I provided to indicate that there is an element of extremism within Israel, as there are in most places, I made sure to acknowledge this.

Did you watch the video of the Rabbi from Toronto?

I made sure to point out that not all Israelis are extremists, as this Rabbi is originally from Israel.

I actually agree with you.

Just because I pointed out this group of extremists does not mean I think all Israelis behave like this, but if you think that these people "are a small minority" then you really need to do some research. They certainly are not the majority though.

What it shows me is the far left and the far right.

One small group asking for the total destruction and the other small group the complete opposite. Meanwhile neither truly represent the majority and both are opposed to the Government. No matter what the Israeli Government does it will be viewed by either side as either not enough or too much.

I did not insult you personally, I criticized your presentation of the issues, which has unfortunately been a pattern of yours regarding any issues concerning Israel.

As for responding to your questions, I believe I already did in my previous post, but I will reiterate and elaborate.

The extremists on both sides are wrong, and are an obstacle to an everlasting peace treaty.

There is a far greater percentage of extremists among the Palestinians, and among Muslims in the region.

Israel has demsonstrated in the recent past that their government is willing to make concessions for peace. Occupied land in Gaza was ceded to the Palestinian Authority a few years ago to extend the olive branch, but Hamas seized control from the moderate Fatah faction (that currently controls the West Bank) in a bloody coup against their own people, and has sinced launched a campaign of terror against Israel.

Unfortunately, as a result, there are a minority of Irsaeli citizens that have become extremist in their views because they are sick and tired of living with the constant threat of terrorism, and they just want a resolution at this point, regardless of the means. I don't agree with that ideology, but then again, I don't have to worry about a rocket landing in my living room.

The sad reality is, that Hamas and other terrorist proxy groups in the region don't even have a hidden agenda. They proudly promote the fact that they will not rest until Israel ceases to exist within any recognized broders whatsoever.

So I'll ask you nicely, can you please provide your opinion as to the manner in which the Israeli government should respond to incessant missiles attacks from an elected terrorist regime that deliberately sacrifices their own civilians to promote their agenda?

Can you please provide your opinion as to how the Israeli government can possibly respond to Hamas in a diplomatic manner?

They realize that microbes keep them alive forever while the satallites keep them from leaving, the two factions fought wars on there home planet so much, the people kicked them out and brought them to the moon to fight eternally. The first step would be lifting the blockade so the necessities of life can make their way to Gaza, then both sides would be able to start talking. Palestine has taken the road of diplomacy by trying to become a member state with the UN while Israel considers this hurtful to the peace process and responds with more illegal settlements. Israel is just as guilty when it comes to blocking diplomacy. I know this kind of got off topic but I tried to answer your question.

It is a touchy situation where both sides are wrong at the end of the day, but Israel is just as guilty with their responses. Both sides have a habit of preemptive strikes. So if Hamas is expected to stop throwing rockets, Israel should be prepared to stop the bombing campaign and also reconsider the planned ground invasion.

I don't claim to have all the answers but both sides must compromise.
