So, you have proof, concrete proof that half of America doesn't like him solely on his race? That being half white and half black?

You're projecting your thought process onto me. I nowhere said half of America didn't like him because of his race.

The Unemployment is hardly good and only people hanging month to month on the U-3 number alone could possibly think so. The BLS is the Governments agency for stats on the matter and it's where I drew all the data from to build this chart awhile back. It's instructive of the state of affairs.

It's not about party, it's about leadership. I've been consistent both before and after the election in giving Clinton his due, for instance. Daddy Bush suck him with terrible unemployment, a bad economy and general malaise as the rule of the day. Much like Carter did to Reagan only with some numbers being worse. He could have whined for 4-8 years and run the U.S. into debt but he didn't. He kicked butt domestically as a Democrat and found whatever special thing it is that leaders get, to make others work together. He turned his final years into some of the only ones in U.S. History with annual budget surpluses and carried right to 9/11 under Baby Bush. The fact Clinton's White House at least had formal budgets signed and into place speaks to that leadership and more. Unemployment today though is HARDLY good.

Even in those numbers, there is bad and there is exceptionally bad. Wait until the next few sets come out and begin to reflect the numbers from new layoffs and slack in demand. If this translates into a crappy Christmas mood? Retail sectors will need their own Bailout present for the new year too. Bah Humbug.

The ultimate metric of the past 4 years and the next 4 is?

Past government spending which is 6 trillion dollars, if the economy was doing so great they would be running surpluses, but they aren't since "everyone is employed".

The national debt will be over 20 trillion by 2016 regardless of the tax the rich stupidity which will clearly show what a total, and abject failure the current administration has been.

10 trillion dollars for all that hope and change.

More than the last guy and every potus who came before him there is reality.

-Everybody knows that racism exists.

-Racism goes in every single direction.

-African American voters chose Obama 96% of the time(give or take)

This begs a few questions:

Do y'all think that African Americans mostly voted for him due to his skin color? Especially considering that his opponent was white?

Are African Americans genetically predisposed to being fiscally and socially liberal?

Why didnt white people side with Romney 96% of the time?

Doesn't it appear that a large portion of African Americans would have voted for Obama no matter what his policies were?

Is this good for America?

Why is racism always blamed on white folks?

I understand our countries recent issues with discrimination and our past history with slavery. I do not feel that America was too far out of character with the world during these times. And if you consider the tribal/territorial struggles that are currently going on in Africa and other parts of the world, we are way ahead of the game. Yes, it took a lot of fighting, but things have been leveled now as far as opportunity goes.

Even a black child born in the poorest of environments can still achieve success with all of the programs that are in place. If that child stays in school and does well they can go to college very easily.

At this point it boils down to culture. And our federal government is doing a lot of things that perpetuate a culture of complacency. People are motivated most when things get very hard. It takes a lot of bad decisions or just complete ineptitude in this country before someone really struggles.

Food and housing is given away like water. Where is the motivation to succeed?

If I made $9 per hour I could get food stamps. Why would I put in serious effort to get a $14 per hour job when I will effectively have the same amount of spending power?

We need government assistance to be sure. I'm just not sure if we need a huge portion of our population addicted to them.

Point being it tells a great deal about the "low information voter" who the right often appeals to in their advertising. This last campaign....there was not time to verify the information and sort out the lies before people voted and that is what they were depending on. I never saw anything like it. I figured many people WOULD BE TAKEN IN, the ads were that persuasive. PEOPLE DIDN'T FALL FOR IT.

I'm assuming you are a troll, because no intelligent or sane person could ever make the comments you have.

Obama received somewhere around 95% of the black vote. Are you actually saying 95% of blacks agree with his policies and didnt vote for him simply because he is black?

Troll? It's called equal time. I started the thread as a response to an Obama basher who began his own thread based on nothing but pessimistic opinion and mine has a link and the things I say will continue to happen have already happened thanks to this Presidency and if you cannot put 2 and 2 together to guess this same agenda might continue...well then I feel sorry for you because something up there is not working like it should. If you call this trolling you have no idea what the word means.

I am presenting the many things we have to be thankful for today.
Hardly trolling my firey and disgruntled friend. Sorry you lost but somebody has to.

He received 91% of the black vote and over 54% of women. I wonder how many of the Latino vote he got but you can rest assured it was the MAJORITY. You can't piss every key core group off and expect to win an election on the angry white vote alone.

Do you honestly feel none of the black votes he got were because of his character...? Where's the big R cause that IS racist. I think many of those folks honestly thought Obama was doing a pretty good job considering the condition the govt was in when he took office and they think he will continue to do so. Did YOU trust Romney? For Christs sake the people in his own party who propped him up and put him in as a candidate shun him like a pariah now. That's the guy you wanted? Great. Thank the good Lord in his mercy you did not get what you wanted.

The next four years?

The USA will become Britain. No offense to our British friends across the pond.

The USA will become a gutless turd of a country, with barely the means to defend itself.

A benefits state, where everyone is entitled to a council flat and lifetime benefits, regardless of immigration status.

A camera on every street corner.

I am predicting the Obama administration will not last another four years. There will be a military coup to remove him and his ilk from office,

Human rights and dignity preserved ya mean. Yeah we are luckier than the UK that's for sure.
We provide benefits finally to the people who deserve them and need them and not to the rich who can afford to buy them. Obama cut back on welfare fraud and used waste and abuse to cover more people, like elderly, handicapped and vets who are legitimately entitled to them. He also took 15,000 homeless veterans off the street. You want to call that a benefits state? Something a little wrong with that thinking if you ask me.
Britain already has a camera on every street corner in fact they tested facial recognition software in London for the Olympic though it had been in use there long before then. Meanwhile in USA redlight cameras are getting removed because people fight the tickets they get from them.

And no military coup is going to go against their commander in chief. The majority of the electorate that put him in office will have something to say about that!

Where were you when we had a Nazi sympathizer in the White House? Bush's grandfather might still be charged with War Crimes related to his involvement with the Nazis in WW2. Where were the naysayers afraid of socialism then? I'll tell you where...same place they are now. Ignorant heads still stuck in the sand listening to a bunch of bloated self important fat pigs who never missed a day of food in their lives like Grover Norquist, and Rush Limbaugh.

My point stands.

We will become like Britain, or France, or Greece or Italy or Spain. People tricked into thinking the government owes them.

And I can't wait until it happens so I can look around the idiots that voted for this nonsense and just smile.

Yeah, lets see for how long.

That's what I said to people who swore Romney was going to win. They "couldn't wait" either.

You don't always get what you wish for. What you imagine will happen - hardly ever does.

It's not a false narrative. There is a large population of people out there that hate Obama because of his race, of course it is not everyone. Pretending it doesn't exist makes you look silly and out of touch with this world.

Oh, so Mr. Semantics shows his colors.

Not half, just a large population.

Sure sure.

SO just breathing and having a pulse makes you deserving of Govt stuff?

There is the problem with America. More and more people think they deserve free crap from the Govt, and want others to foot the bill because they have deemed them as rich and capable to do so.

That's the BS you peddle.

Making people think they are struggling and can't seem to get ahead themselves because the poor are getting free stuff on their dime..... when it is actually because the rich are.

IT IS THE HOAX OF THE CENTURY.

Not that the same exact lying propaganda and false finger pointing hasn't worked in the past to make good people deliver their fellow man up to the powerful, well organized forces of greed and avarice - This is always the plan behind finger pointing. Framing, falsely accusing, and scapegoating are other words for these dynamic and contrary to the actual facts.... assertions.

Most people KNOW - THE POOR, LITERALLY GET WHAT AMOUNTS TO CRUMBS.
Money that goes to the poor, which includes widows, orphans and vets btw, is a drop in the bucket compared to what is given to the wealthy in corporate welfare and tax breaks.

THE BULK OF THAT LOAF is siphoned off incrementally and funneled into CORPORATE SUBSIDIZES AND CORPORATE WELFARE like GE, EXXON, Norstrom, Raytheon, Monsanto et al.

It is made available to the wealthy through investment scamming and funneled into PRIVATE CONTRACTORS (i.e. their relatives businesses) the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX, contractors like Alliant, Lockheed and military black budgets projects we seldom even see.... except maybe the finished product (a space elevator or an atom smasher) on the NOVA channel years later. Many things getting billions more in funding than the widows and children, the elderly, and the poor are stamped national "security" issues. The public is on a need to know basis and we never need to know.

You represent the enormously organized effort and huge network of "working associates" who throw out the dis-information necessary to allow this whole scam to happen. Congratulations and welcome back!

The taxes that are sucked out of my paycheck suggests otherwise.
I have a job, so I am forced to provide for those that don't. Again, those without deserve to have what those with have.

What finger pointing?
The Govt is larger, taking more taxes, more people are on food stamps and welfare, more people are out of work. Yet, those with a job are forced to pay more taxes to provide for others.

Yeah, more Govt.

Yep, because what is the budget divided up into???
www.usgovernmentspending.com...
Looks like Health care for people is 18%, Education is 14% and Welfare is 12%.
The "others" spending is 7%.
Healthcare via the Govt is failing, Education is failing and welfare is failing.
Yeah, all they need is more money, right?
