Or are you going to just stay bitter and see it all crash and burn,

I'd like to see it crash and burn. We always need a cycle of destruction for rebirth. Hopefully can be done right this time.

Reminds me of this scene:

Now you want us to compromise. Work together. I think it would be best if you all made the first gesture. But you cannot. You’re a hypocrite.

Hey bubb, it you’re trying to express logic to a lot of the liberal folk here, I wouldn’t even waste your time. You will be getting nowhere real fast.

But if you are truly determined to try to pound some understanding into a liberal's head, then, the only apparent means at this point is to go to all the tedious trouble of finding some so-called "objective data" – only with these credentials attached does the carefully shuttered liberal mind allow new ideas to enter. This may seem like reinventing the wheel, as obviously the authority you cited earlier has already done the research, found the facts, and evaluated them using the full benefit of his experience and education, in a manner that is obviously far superior to any analysis or understanding by unqualified individuals; it is simply an unfortunate and unpleasant fact of the liberal mentality that he needs the crutch of believing that the truth you are trying to convey has been somehow anointed by having so-called "supporting evidence" attached to it. Without this ritual of purification, he simply won't listen. It doesn't matter if you are quoting the President himself; he has an obsessive need to question, and – like a dog which must circle three times before lying down – he cannot rest until that obsession has been satisfied.

Neo has the logic of a ball in a pin ball machine.

And you clearly has spent too much time writing that post to
Have it so completely wrong.

12 years of crying about Bush and some people have a problem with this thread?

Aw shucks.

Blame is for the weak, you make your own chances in life, this is true at a guess 95% of the time.

Sounds like republicans on ATS

Where is your link? Are we to depend on your opinion alone as to what the next 4 years are going to bring or is there some little bit of anything like a link or more to back up these claims? Are you simply whining to get others to be brought down to your level. Seriously I am curious neo...where is this all coming from? Inside your head? Would you mind posting something - anything to verify or support any one of these many outrageous and fanciful claims?

Neo is simply putting 2 and 2 together and using his critical thinking skills to draw him to his conclusions. Why would he need “a source” of someone else’s written opinion to validated his thinking. That’s the one thing that is wrong with ATS sometimes is people seek “sources” that are nothing more than an author’s option on a subject or facts.

not knowing Neo personally, I draw the conclusion that Neo questions everything the government tells you. It’s something all citizens should do but fail.

When the government tells you 2+2=5, you should question it.

It is pretty cool that the ATS mods usually put threads like this in
The rant section if they are written from the liberal perspective.
Where's don't thread on me when you need some treading?

If this economy improves in the next couple years, will you accept it?

I dont know if its a question for me or Neo but i would say yes, why would'nt I? Problem is its not going to. The math doesnt lie. no matter who won the white house it would not improve, Romney would delay the collapse longer, Obama would step on the gas. its to far gone

What was the gold price in 2008?

Around $737 dollars

What is the current price of gold?

$1737ish

Gold is the leading indicator of how the economy is doing gold will be higher over $ 2500 within the next 4 years.

Why are people so willing to be blind as to the current state of the union?

200 million Americans on Social programs
23 million Americans out of work

6000 regulations passed in the last 90 days

And people just don't get how screwed we are?

4 more years of being told I hate Hispanics
4 more years of being told I hate Gays
4 more years of being told I hate the middle class

I'm sure you will continue to be told all these things for as long as you participate on ATS regardless of who's in the white house.

I think you are express concerns a lot of right-wingers have as of late. I can totally understand what you are saying. A lot of political hack liberals will point the finger at the right in order to marginalize any political influence the right might have or could gain. This is sad but political hacks on the right do the exact same thing.

The results are always the same; Deepens the division of the American people. I think it is clear that all the problems America is facing now is due to doing things which have worked in the past but clearly no longer work. Both seemingly polar opposites of the American political landscape are holding into certain ideas which simply no longer work in 21st century America.

Progression is what is needed in America. New systems and new ways of structuring society are going to be key to rebuild the nation. The sooner the right-wing learns how to operate in modern America, the easier it will be to build a America for the 21st century. Leftist also need to check themselves because the New-Leftist movement, which is a product of the 1960`s, has clearly failed to deal with the massive problems the nation is facing.

Now
Using that fairly big brain of yours, and considering what you just wrote...

Explain to me then a couple things
Why is Fox News endlessly beating the doom drum about the economy...
and
Why is Fox News endlessly showing commercials to purchase gold...

Do you understand the concept of percieved worth? This is what gold relies on...
A good corporate marketing scam is to increase worth through doom scenarios to jack the price up more and more through paranoia purchases.

I give nothing but props for people like goldline and the like for their brilliant marketing.

And you just helped them with that post...you suggest where it is now verses where it will be.
If I thought you were credible, I would be thinking...what a great investment...even though its massively high now, if I just pour all my money into that, it will be a solid ROI.

all that from a lil bit of doom.

Two kids were fighting over an orange. After a couple hours, their mother took the orange and cut it in half, giving each child one half. Seems fair, but in reality, each child settled for 50% of what they wanted. Once the children had their halves, one child took the center out and through it on the ground as this child only wanted the peel, the other child ate the center leaving the peel on the ground. Had the children been willing to work together, they each could have had 100% of what they wanted. If we could as a society, list all the things we pit against each other, like men vs women, rich vs poor, black vs white, christian vs muslim, etc...and changed the vs. to "with", I wonder what our world would look like? This is a view point, a state of mind, something we can change, we all have to be willing to do so.

Simple question here.

if gold had no value and is part of this doom porn your talking about then why is china buying it hand over fist? why has Germany formally requested there gold be shipped back to them from New York, why has Venezuela requested its gold back from new york? why is India buying gold hand over fist, why is iran trading oil for gold with india and china, I can go on and on......

gold is and always has been money, its an item that cant be created and is rare

Here's a thought, from an outsider.

The next 4 years in the USA will be what people choose to make it.

If you choose only to be partisan, then partisanship is all you'll get.

And in four years time it'll be deja-vu all over again....

The unwillingness to do anything but bicker causes stagnation.

The only problem with that Nef is it's not their choice, things are decided by those who they elected, and the majority rules which is nothing but mob rule.

Majority gets what they want the minority gets the continued shaft.
