I thought the world was gonna blow up in December.. If the Mayans are correct there wont be another 4 years of anything.

In other news, I didnt vote for either party. I'll let you guys figure out where my vote went. If real change is to be achieved, both republicans and democrats (bloods and crips), must be removed from all government posts. The current government is rotten to its very core.

An enlightened individual, how refreshing. I did the same.

4 more years of the liberal superiority complex from a party that claims everyone is "equal"

Amen. How's that go again? "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

That Jefferson. What a commie.

No, Jefferson said "all men are created equal", not "all men are made equal by man made social justice schemes like redistribution of income and abolition of private property".

There is a difference, in case you didn't know.

Anyway looks like the next 4 years are going to be something like :

Harry Reid trying to "reform" Congressional tools like filibustering www.huffingtonpost.com...

Obama giving away the control of the Internet to the UN

When delegates gather in Dubai in December for an obscure UN agency meeting, fighting is expected to be intense over proposals to rewrite global telecom rules to effectively give the United Nations control over the Internet.

www.businessinsider.com...

www.newsmax.com...

Plans for Internet ID
articles.businessinsider.com...

Emergency control of the Internet
news.cnet.com...

More spying on Americans

www.americanpatrol.com...

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I am sure that more stuff will be unveiled as we go along. Obama will support plans for a Global Tax either to support the UN Agenda 21 plan for sustainability or Internet tax of some sort, whatever the BIlderbergs come up with.

Or could be some kind of redistribution tax like his Global Poverty Tax which failed when he was a Senator.

Or perhaps it will come in the form that Richard Trumka supports, the financial transaction tax

Articulate and factual?

It nothing but a whine festival based on speculation.

When this economy picks up inertia you guys are gonna be
Assed out.

DUDE!!!
Your own media outlets can no longer contain the bad economic news. The growing layoffs, the shut down in investments, the loss of consumer confidence, manufacturing index is down, stocks have been down...

I mean Pollyanaism is fine... in a fairy tale. But this is REALITY my friend. The credit cards are over the limit and the monthly income no longer makes the minimum payment, let alone paying the continuing expenses.

This economy is certainly demonstrating inertia... IN THE WRONG DIRECTION!!!

From my point of view we've had 32 years of Reaganomics to ensnare us and only 4 years of a cycle to try and change those policies.

This country worked well when businesses were rationally regulated, people were rationally taxed, and there was a culture of wanting prosperity for everyone - not just the "job creators". When I was younger my employers did not just offer euphemisms about "people being the most important part of our business" - they provided decent pay and benefits to show that they meant it.

Somewhere that all changed - and now cheap labor and creating as much profit as can be squeezed from everything is the status quo - and this approach is not conducive to growth. Houses and nations are built upon strong foundations - and the foundation of any nation is the masses.

We need industry to take the lead in bringing back quality jobs to our shores. Yes, they might pay a premium here, as compared to the third world, for labor - but the benefits of that expense are worth it. These mega corporations became mega corporations due to their American labor force - not to the third world operations they now utilize.

Greed has to be mitigated to a degree if we are to survive as a nation and as a people.

Once that happens? Then social services will be much less in demand and we can move towards altering them down to a rational level as well.

~Heff

Well said.

4 more years of being told I hate poor people
4 more years of being told I hate women
4 more years of being told I hate African Americans
4 more years of being told I hate Hispanics
4 more years of being told I hate Gays
4 more years of being told I hate the middle class
4 more years of being told how evil corporations are
4 more years of being told how evil banks are
4 more years of the mass media ignoring everything inherently wrong with the current administration
4 more years of how the GOP is obstructionist.
4 more years of tax the rich
4 more years of the liberal superiority complex from a party that claims everyone is "equal"
4 more years of "like how totally awesome Obama and the Democrats are".
4 more years of Blame Bush which makes Bush the longest serving Potus in US history.

The United states of ignorance is what the country is
The united states of dysfunction is also what this country is.

Blah blah Blah

We are all born ignorant, but one really must work hard to remain stupid.

Quite right Neo. I was watching a movie last night.... and I started to pay attention to the dialogue.... a couple invited a teenager to dinner and they were talking about how they loved Cambodia and the teen said he had never gone outside the US, so they said oh you should visit Cambodia, and they went on about being vegan and green and so forth. Of course they were drinking wine and giving it to the teen... and the whole dialogue seemed to be about showing off how intellectual they were, the liberals that they were.... never mind they gave wine to an underage kid and then she slept with him a few days laters....

Wow...You have exposed the Democrats plan to get teenage girls drunk and sleep with them!!

Hey...I saw this movie once about these guys on canoe trip...of course it was somewhere down south in a Republican state...I think it was called Deliverance....You would never believe what those Republicans did to those guys!!

Those that believe that a second term for Obama can solve the nation's problems are the same people who believe a fire can be extinguished if you just throw enough gasoline on it.

in 2016 when this national debt is over 20 trillion and it is going to be I am going to tell people to get over it because they wanted it.

Considering there are more people getting government revenue than paying it I am going to tell people to get over it because they wanted it.

When there are no more rich because they have gone the way of the do do i am going to sit there and tell people to get over it because that is what they wanted.

And I will get over it when I stop hearing the words blame Bush,Blame fox news, and anyone who has criticism of the current administration are just racist, sexist, homophobes, poor haters, middle class haters etc.

Yeah some people do need to get over their selves and we all know who that is.

people always complain about social programs and taxes to fund them and all the debt it results in.

Maybe just maybe... if there wasn't a need for those things they would not exist.

If big business actually took care of its employees and customers ethically and fairly the government would not have a reason to get involved.

if there was no abuse of the work force by BIG BUSINESS aka rich unions would have never existed in the first place.

Now businesses can be stationed anywhere in the world and completely screw over countries but that does not matter because they do not live there.

If businesses would not act so self centered there would be no need for social programs nor would there need to be a need for government other than maybe to deal with a foreign power.

the problem is that the rich will exploit the laborer at any turn.

they want us to build their houses and toys. they want us to serve them and protect them and they want us to do it for cheap.

If we want the gap between their lifestyle and ours not to have as big of a gap as we have now they begin to cry about how we are killing business

and they fool many twits when they throw a temper tandrum and move the companies to other nations and spin it as it is our fault for wanting to succeed when we help their business succeed.

seriously, 99% of you guys have no idea what an employer is capable of if there is no one around to keep them honest. I thought after the whole housing crash and bank bail out people would wise up about but nope.

The next four years will be difficult regardless of who is president. You need to relax and realize you are in a good nation.

Oh yah I saw Deliverance too. What did I tell you about how Hollywood libs depict right wingers.

And thank you very much for helping me make my point.

In their dreams. Property taxes on a million dollar home is at least $15,000, and probably closer to $20,000.

America must be the only country where people openly brag about zionism, big business, anti-welfare state, pro-military occupations, etc. The problem is this country has the most economic and military muscle in the world and setting the world back with each republican victory.

That is not to say democrats are good. They are simply the lesser of two evils. But why vote the lesser of two evils when you can actually vote for good? There are at least 10 parties in america which given the chance could correct lots of wrongs gradually. Either people do not know about them or they are afraid to dump this sick status-quo.

Only in america is socialism a dirty word. Not saying you have to love it, but at least try to understand what it is all about before you start bashing people with different ideas. I don't love the government for the sake of loving it. The government is what people make of it, it is what the majority want it to be, minus the corruption of course. If they want hamas as the government, then hamas runs the government. Or you can have a communist government.

Starbucks tried that and they still had to close locations after Obama won the WH. I talked with a guy who managed a location which closed. And that was right after they had to raise prices too. Who would have guessed.
They do all the "ethical social responsibility" like donating to La Raza and sell water called "ethos" which I didn't find particularly good.
However they still have some of the best coffee.

pro-military occupations,

Make no mistake, current POTUS is following the TC, CFR, and Bilderberg plan, but he also has a few ideas of his own which make him perfect for doing the job.

You seem to be mixing up some different concepts here. You start by wondering why freedom-loving Americans won't support the Totalitarian Progressive movement, then you suggest that people want terrorist organizations like Hamas to run govt. Since Hamas is really an Iranian terror organization which managed to gain control.... ie... similar to Nicaraguan Sandinistas or any other Marxist guerilla type military takeover.... and you kind of just threw that into the mix of American politics.....

Where were you going with that? You want us to have Hamas run our govt too? Or just have Americans support it in a foreign place?

So what? If you can afford to buy a million dollar home, then you sure as hell can afford to pay $50,000 in property taxes as well. If you can't afford it then do NOT buy it. It is that simple. Why tax the poor who can barely make ends meet? It is non-sense!

But I am sure the bottom-feeders love this gameplan. They love austerity packages as well. They love those 2 week bohemian grove meetings in california. "Screwing the poor" is their middle name.

I am saying everyone keeps settling for the lesser of two evils, when in actuality they have many choices.

The palestinians were not scared to dump the fatah party in favor of hamas who actually has the balls to fight against jewish oppression. When will americans vote in a party that actually stands for what the majority want?

Why keep settling for the lesser of two evils? Republicans do NOT stand for smaller government; all they stand for is big business entitlements, zionism, big military and anti-welfare state. The democrats ARE NOT LEFT and only support the welfare state because they fear losing votes from the center left. I personally like the constitution party and spusa because they are radical in a positive sense like bringing back jobs to america by force rather than small talk, and because they both do not like bankers very much. Someone needs to stand up to the corruption and say "enough".
