WWIII - What Would It Take?

People have been anticipating this event for many many years now.

What would it take for something that would qualify as a world war to take place in todays day and age?

Global terror war doesn't count in my opinion.

What would it be-
Pakistan vs India
meets
North Korea vs South Korea
meets
China vs Japan
meets
Russia vs India and South Korea and Japan
China and Russia vs the US an EU?
Turkey, who's side do they choose?
What about South America? half Allied (world bank owned), half Rouge Faction (not under any world banks, opposed to world bank, ie: Iran, China, North Korea, some counties in Central America).

What would it really take?
Israel's problems aren't enough, right?

Switzerland will probably be a neutral nation.

When Israel hits Iran, this will start WW3.

A war involving many large nations in all different parts of the world. The name is commonly given to the wars of 1914–18 and 1939–45.

A "World Cold War" is possible.

there will be no world war 3. there will however be a bunch of proxy wars fought by the U.S/E.U vs China and maybe russia.

I mean really who cares about either of those countries ?? If they were gone the world would still go on. Silly thinking 1 or 2 countries make a difference . Look ar Africia over the last 40 years and now who cares about africia

Given the current level of the United States Military's Power Projection, Ultra-High Tech. level and the development and Right Now deployed Direct Energy Weapons...WWIII is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY. More so now than at any point in the last 100 years.

I think if anyone feel's that we wont see WW3 they are kidding, because I know that David Cameron for a starts wants to send UK forces into Syria to confront Iran, Russia & China, and America is really keen to enclose China from all sides to get China to take the bate to start a war too.
It's fact that when nations go bankrupt as the USA & UK & Germany have that always leads to a major war.

Here's my my guess/breakdown.
These situations would easily start with a false flag event. So, that being the case, we will start with Syria.
Syria/rebels launch mortar/missle attack on Turkish soil.
Turkey gets feed up and retaliate in mass.
Isreal takes advantage and attacks Syria.
Egypt and Sudan launches missiles into Isreal.
Iran advises they were going to launch missiles into Isreal as well (but does not).
Isreal launches on Iran, Iran absorbs first attack. (Isreal draws first blood, gaining sympathy for Iran from Islamic nations).
US & NATO begins operations into Syria, Russia enters conflict to support Syria.
Jordan remains neutral, Saudi Arabia, Qutar, and Yemen enter conflict.
Pakistan mobilizes forces into Kashmire region, provides weapons and supplies to Iran. India declairs war on Pakistan.
China enters conflict and begins operations in India.
EU build up of forces on Russian Border.
Russia warns any troop build up in eastern europe would result in use of thermol-nuclear response.
Unless intense diplomatic solutions occur...worst case senario.

You are crazy to think the U.S. wants to start WWIII. If anything...the current actions by the U.S. are designed to stop a war.

Also the current U.K. Prime Minister has very little sway upon what the U.S. will or will not do. Split Infinity

Yes but what you have to remember the UK & USA are not at this time governed by sane leaders, they are both as nutty as a fruit cake, one minute you got USA saying they wont support Israel, so Hamas start to shell Israel because they know Israel has no USA support, appeasement as the USA do mostly starts wars.
Our UK PM cuts defence to a dangerous level, less than ever before then puts his nose into battles like the Middle East we cannot cope with.
It's a crazy world, anything could happen when mad men rule.

If the question is what would define World War III as opposed to Israel's regional fighting issues, I'd say it's a straight forward question. If actual fighting starts on the home soil of one or more of the following nations: America, China, Russia, England, France, Germany, Australia, or Japan. If fighting is on their own actual soil.....then we can call it a right and proper World War set to build larger quick and basically be in totally uncharted waters for predictions beyond that, IMO.

You have to take into consideration to that we are a global economy today. Most of these nations that stand behind the Muslim troublemakers would rather do business than go to war. On the other hand, if the economies of nations continue to slide downward, that would increase the chance of WWIII. Like one poster said above, some of those European Union nations have gone broke already. War is good for an economy, not good for humanity, but good for lining some wallets.

Because of my sometimes JOB...I am aware of just how in advance current U.S. Military capabilities are as well as Multiple Black Programs that two in particular...the FEL...Free Electron Laser...and the MEB...Microwave Emitting Beam...are now being or have been deployed.

These are just two systems of many that have such capabilities that even to disclose their existence...as the U.S. disclosed the existence of the FEL to visiting Chinese Military Leadership in the U.S....is enough to change the course of events as the disclosure of the FEL to the Chinese most likely stopped the Invasion of Taiwan.

When the Chinese Admiral saw this capability he was in SHOCK. He reported to the Communist Party Leadership who did not believe him and he was almost JAILED...that any attempt by China to invade Taiwan would be DISASTROUS to the Chinese Military as the U.S. Military and Navy could sink any Chinese Troop Carriers that attempted to cross the sea to Taiwan AT WILL.

If you notice their has not been any INVASION rhetoric coming out of China and China has actually helped the problem in North Korea as well as told IRAN that China will not get involved in a U.S./Iranian Conflict.
