I'm a big Captain America fan, and I think it's important to note that he cares for the American people. Perhaps he sees you suffering with your increase of taxes, but he also sees the poor suffering who cannot afford to feed their children or find sufficient housing.

Fact be told, Gov. Romney didn't stand for the majority of the American people, and the people agreed upon this. From reading his comics, I believe Captain America would side with the people, and support the government that the people have chosen because he stands for America and he trusts in the American political and justice system.

It’s an expected 30% increase tax of my current gross in addition to the 18% I already pay. This is specific to my income tax bracket. (105,000 – 250,000) or whatever the cap is.

The math may be off, and I hope it is.. its extremely complicated to juggle various multinational tax rates and keep them strait, as we also pay tax to whatever host country we happen to be working in throughout the year. I may be a little off on the exact percentage going to US Federal Withholding and SS, but not by much..

Like I said earlier, the corporate meeting isnt for a few weeks, we were only given a “Friendly Heads-Up” by direct supervisor, who is also a representative of the board, of what to expect from corporate which is who will be passing down the exact information.

You still aren't getting it.... a 30% increase would be on the 18% that's being paid and would result in 23.4%, not 50+%. It's a percentage of a percentage, not a percentage of the dollar amount. That's what they told you to get you up in arms. NOBODY pays 50% on income under ANY plan. It just isn't done. Somebody is manipulating you and getting you upset.

You don't have to "trust me", check it out for yourself. It's not that difficult to do.

Watch it disappear to taxes, more taxes and obummacare. He might as well quit his job and get in the hand-out line."

The tax increase is based on yearly income, and yes, if you work for a living its going to affect you too! Those of you who receiving welfare or still live with mommy will not see or feel it though. At my income level (105k-250k) the tax levels are estimated to increase 30-38%, and it not my employer isn’t raising the “federal” taxes. Everyone in my career field or income level is going to be getting the same increase.

Why are you paying federal taxes? Are you a federal employee? Or for that matter, why are you paying any income tax at all? Go read the IRS Code for who is liable for income taxes. I don't pay income tax so it doesn't affect me. And, no, I'm not living with mommy or on welfare. They fooled you into paying this tax. Instead of bitching about everything, find out the how's and why's of all this stuff. I took one document into my employer and was declared tax exempt by them. The IRS also has a copy of this doc. Don't get negative, just smarten up.

Just so I'm clear on this, you make $250,000 a year and you're complaining about being FORCED to live on around $125,000 a year? How dare us poor folk have things like, gasp, healthcare?! That money needs to go towards a new yacht!

Shave every perk gift and luxury you were giving your employees including Holiday Pay and overtime, now benefits and insurance, forget about pensions and fair pay just so you can increase your bottom line.

With all of that you ARE rich.

The majority of people either don't have a job or if they do they have low wages and short hours. They are in debt up to their ears and the collection calls don't stop.

Someone has to start paying more taxes. The people who can't even pay their bills should not be first on the list.

One more thing. My whole life, and specifically the last two years, has been one big game of catch-up. I was unemployed the last two years surviving on my husbands barely there income. Twice a month we had to pay bills. Each time we were sick to our stomach because it was always a choice between do we want electricity this month or heat? I finally got hired last month and we can finally pay our bills with ease. Our transmission went out and we could actually PAY for it. I feel beyond lucky and RICH.

If my new job throws us into a new tax bracket and we pay more in taxes then so be it. I have no problem paying more in taxes to help those that are in a situation I have been in my whole life. I know exactly how it feels to never have enough money.

Do you know where your income tax money goes? Once you answer that, you'll see that you are not helping anyone that is "in a situation". Sad, but true. I've been there, too. I was happy that I was able to afford a rusty gas tank to replace the one that was REALLy rusted out. Not being liable for this "income tax", is really helping out.

From what I've seen, the "benefit" $$$$$ is BORROWED, and then dished out through various Agencies. Where was it borrowed from ? Follow the road made of bricks of yellow.
It would be nice to be able to pay my bills with ease. But, then again, the whole fiat "dollar" thing is about to implode. When the dollar is completely devalued, we'll all be equal, financially.

Excellent. The Civil Flag. I have a hat with this flag on it. A guy sitting in a lawnchair at a picnic, was mumbling about " ......that's disgusting. That's desecration of the flag". My wife heard him, I didn't hear him. She told me about it too late. I would have greatly enjoyed discussing flags with him. I have one for a pole but am waiting until my Land Patent is complete.

I feel your pain.

There are the free loaders who know how to take advantage of the system. There is a family who lives down the road from us. While I struggle to make money for my family, they are living off the high hog.

Don’t ask me how I know. I’ll just say that I have my ways. This is what they have…

1.$1100.00 in food stamps a month for 4 kids (mother pregnant again).
2.Medicaid.
3.HUD housing.
4.Pal grant checks for school loans.
5.3 different business names under their address. (All fake).
6.$40,000 Lexus with “I love Obama” (in Spanish) bumper sticker on back.
7.$50,000 truck with $6,000 wheels and rims.

I have argued with people about the food stamp amount allowed here in Adams County Colorado. When you have 20 people living under the roof of a 4 bedroom home, they manage to find a way to get it. This is how they get $1100.00 in food stamps. The illegal Mom tells Social services that she has 7 kids instead of 4, and instead of going out of the way to find proof, they go by hearsay. Many have been busted for doing this, but there are very little resources to follow thru on most of the accusations. I think they should require a paternity test(s) on the Mother and children to make sure they ARE who they say they are.

I have called Adams Social Services on numerous occasions about this family of 20+, and they more or less treat me like a racist. I have on one occasion gone in to complain about them. After spending over an hour in line to talk with someone about my concerns, it took them ANOTHER 20 minutes to find someone who could speak English. When I went in, there was one (1) white family of three waiting in line to get help. I can tell you with 100% accuracy that 9 out of 10 people waiting in line to get help were illegal. There were a good 50 to 60 people waiting.

More people come in and out of their house than the local Wal-Mart. Police are there regularly for dog and rooster fights. All the illegal actions are blamed on the underage kids so the adults don’t receive jail time. The system lenient on the kids because they are minors and illegal. They only get probation.

My older son used to get along with one of the kids from the family. That was until we found out he was dealing drugs.

And of course, who IS paying for this?

I don’t understand how ANYONE can see this as being OK…!

instead of sitting behind a computer complaining get a bunch of friends together have them get a bunch of their friends and so on and so on.. then when you're all ready pm me here and i will join you then we'll head to dc and do something. everyone who suffers and does nothing be quite and take it because it's your own fault as is everyone else who doesn't "do" anything. there's a fine line between being a crybaby and a patriot. obama, romney, doesn't matter who running this country they'll all pushing us towards our very own "final solution" and the thing is..
