When I saw the title I thought, 'could he mean an RC plane?'
Because thats all I'm capable of.
You're a tinsy bit out of my league haha!

So what is your favorite feeling you get from it?
I'm jealous, very cool and have fun.

My favorite feeling was when the instructor took over the controls to circle some guy's house being nosey and he just threw the rudder way left and spiraled down 1000 feet, that was sweet.

There was also when we landed, the "Im still alive!" and looking back up at the sky thinking, holy crap, I was just up there

I'm sure you could handle flying a plane. This was the first time I ever did it, the instructor took off and got to the coast and let me take a few pics, then I was told to take the controls......threw a little left rudder and followed through on the yoke....then we went out in the boonies, he circled some guys house, I flew over a nearby airport, back to the coast and into the traffic pattern at the airport, and he landed it.

The instructor of course did most of the work, but I got a good taste of what it was like.

By the way, todays flight cost me $90.

Nice work Phroz. I flew a beechcraft or a cessna when I was !3 or 14 . It was a birthday discovery flight from my parents. Once I proved to the pilot I knew what I was doing, he let me have the wheel. Just dont touch the rudder pedals he said. What an amazing feeling to float in the air like a bird. Go for it man, get your private!

Cool. But the rudder's the fun part! My parents weren't cool enough to put me in a plane LOL.

Tax return should be big enough to pay for most of the time I need for the private.

Ill also be joining the flying club. I checked out their planes as well. The instructor doesn't have the proper insurance to solo students with his plane, so I'll have to join the club by then and use their Cessna. They also have a bigger Beechcraft with 180hp and retractable landing gear and autopilot that can do 150 mph... which ends up being cheaper to rent, WTF?

The weirdest part was when the instructor told me "Ah, its got a pull starter!" ...was totally expecting him to start yanking on a rope like it was a lawn mower LOL. has a big lever you pull to start it. I figured they had electric starters...

Oh yeah....and we flew over and along I-94 and tried to get the truckers to say there was a bear in the air..lmao. Too bad we didn't have a CB

AWESOME!
and I'm sure 90 bucks seemed like a bargain
after turning and dropping a thousand feet.

My husband has had his private pilots license for years. He can't fly
anymore because he lost his medical. You want to fly? Keep yourself
healthy,a doctor can ground you quickly.

My husband and I live close to an airport and he loves to watch the planes
land and take-off.He wants to be up there flying again so bad I can see
it in his face.
Good luck with your flying.

My husband lost his medical before I met him.All of his dreams

a mild stroke.
