Is anyone alive out there?

Hello, I am new. It is nice to meet you all (in advance).

I am looking forward to conversing with some like minded individuals. No one "gets" me really, and I am somewhat ok with that but it disturbs me at times too. I try hard to have an open mind with most things but I find myself swimming in a sea of closed minded people. I often times ask, "Is anyone alive out there?" and people think I am quoting a line from Titanic, the movie.

But I'm not... and I don't care to explain what I mean for fear of the blank stares I get in return.

So that's that.

When I was a child, I used to think that we were all like puppets,
With God somehow controlling all the strings
and if you spun around in one direction,
you had to turn around in the opposite direction,
to keep the strings from tangling up.

Sup dog. i agree, i find my self wondering at times what in the heck is going on. sometimes i am like don't you ppl read the news for example lol. i like... where have you all been lol? i like that one. i am like you sir. i dont fit in well around ppl. most ppl are too strange or don't agree on what id see as common sense. most ppl seem to block out a lot of stuff making talking to them hard. like you said i also get the blank stare sometimes as if there thinking real hard on what to say lol.

I've gotten myself in more trouble than I care to remember by not doing or saying what I am supposed too. For a while I simply clammed up. But that didn't work either. Some people just aren't happy unless they're in control of everything and when they don't have a reason to control something they just make one up.

I speak my mind early and often and once in a while it costs me, but I am willing to pay for what I believe in.

Some people never stop spinning.

Damn those people walking around with their eyes closed overly concerned with getting their Starbucks in the morning when they should be concerned with what happened while they were sleeping. Assuming they have a clear enough conscious to sleep that is.
