This was Israel's Plan all along

They knew if Obama won they would pull this one out of the bag. Didn't take long either.

Step 1. Kill Palestinian Militant Leader inside Gaza, taking out several civilians including children alongside with him.

Step 2. Allow for the 100% guaranteed retaliation in the form of rockets (ie. iron-dome fail)

Step 3. Ignore the fact that they started the whole thing (does anyone hear of the initial attack ANYWHERE on the media, for all anyone knows the start of this were the rockets coming down on Israel)

Step 4. Rain hell on Palestine and hopefully initiate a greater conflict which will 100% guaranteed pull Iran in or make it easy for them to pretend that Iran has stepped in (ie. already "reports" are calling the rockets "iranian rockets") which would get them what they want, a full out conflict with Iran.

Step 5. Russia and China chime in on one side (Russia is already backing Egypt's response and they have made it clear they back Iran in case of a war like conflict, as does China) and the US et al. on their side, possibly igniting World War 3. A risk to mitigated as it develops or "allowed/instigated" to happen as they play it by ear. (yes, they are that crazy)

I do not think that Israel wanted Obama back in office. I think they likely secretly funded Romney to some degree, because he would have not given them the cold shoulder like Obama has. Romney would have taken us into war with Iran, because he would not have said no to Israel, for various reasons. Obama's stance toward Israel has been surprising, as he says he supports them, but does not commit to the crazy actions they are urging the world to take against Iran. They simply want us to do their dirty work, and it has nothing to do with Iran's actions. Iran could do a complete 180 on all their policies that Israel dislikes, and Israel would still want to bomb them...It is because Israel has a superiority complex that is quite obvious, and they look down on anyone who is not Jewish. It is that simple imo.

This completely ignores the very real history of previous rocket and mortar attacks.

If Iran chooses to get involved that's their own fault. I never realized that many Iranian supporters thought the Iranians were so feeble minded to be "Pulled in"

Does an occupied nation have a right to attack the occupiers ?

Does a seiged nation have a right to attack their captors?

The whole Israel/Palestine issue is a lie and is using religion as tool to manipulate both sides by a oligarchy that is nothing but about power,control,land, and greed.

Great op, thnx, good to keep an eye on the reasons of what's happening there, in this continous tragedy. It's more than clear that Israel wants this conflict to create the conditions to bomb Iran (Gaza doesn't want this war, if you didn't know, try other sources). As for who started this: Israel has killed 70 Palistians in the last half year, trying to ignite these rocket boys. Within a couple of weeks Gaza has to mourn 600 of it's people. Within a couple of months the Iranian nuclear program will be in shambles.

Israel doesn't take risks with it's security and will take every risk to defend it's existence. Netanyahu has a climbing percentage in his head.
