Personally I think Bush is incapable of lying. I also think he was incapable of having foresight, filters, leadership over his staff (Cheney/Rumsfield), or a good ideas..but he was a "good guy" overall...

Although there are many different sub groups of socialism, overall, the general push is that he is a marxist-Leninist (which is communism incidently, not socialism) moreso than a libertarian style socialism..which is utter rubbish. Obama is, like pretty much every president before him, a capitalist who uses a bit of socialism for reinforcing the safety net.
If he was a true socialist, there wouldn't be a insurance mandate, there would be a single payer healthcare system run by the government. Instead, we get this capitalist/corporatist trash about purchasing insurance.

Corrupting a word does not make a person fit that word..it just corrupts the word, and makes the corrupters seem unwilling or unable to read a simple definition.

And every leader in every nation, state, kingdom, fifedom, tribe, etc has been responsible for setting up the redistribution of wealth...This is the very core nature of taxation.

Obama likes to breath air also, that doesn't make him a balloon.

In response to me, seemed directed to me and I apologise if that was not your intent. THe difficulty with a conversation in a BB ( do they even use the term "bulletin board" anymore?) is that one loses the nuances and meanings that one gets in a regular conversation. Please accept my apology.

I'm well versed in Socialism and what it means. There are many types and I would describe Obama as a Fabian Socialist. Fabian socialists have their beliefs, but work within the free market framework and compromise in the short term to work for the longterm goal.

For starters, McCain and Graham are going to regret making the statements they've made regarding Susan Rice. They have no evidence to indicate that she lied about anything. All indications are, that she relayed the information as it was given to her and nothing more.

McCain and Graham are a perfect example of "The Problem" facing american politics today. They are both incompetent cowards who choose to make false & inflammatory statements to the press instead of attending the intelligence hearings designed to disclose the facts surrounding the incident. Cowards because of the fact that they have chosen to attack the messenger, (namely Susan Rice) and make her the scapegoat for their lack of knowledge, when it is they who choose not to be properly informed.
