I think you are still of the mistaken belief that the new leaders in Egypt are friends with the Palestinians. They are not. The only use the Brotherhood has for Palestinians is for propaganda purposes. This is the actual position of nearly all the Arabic states. None of them actually WANT Palestinians in their territory any more than Israel does. Palestinians tend to either bring or attract trouble.

This is the reason why. It's more of a demographic problem than a political one.

Gaza’s population is projected to grow from 1.6 million to an estimated 2.1 million over the next eight years. The fundamental infrastructure of the area — a narrow coastal strip 25 miles long and 3.5 to 7.5 miles wide — “is struggling to keep pace with the needs of the growing population,” according to the report. The findings are based on data gathered by United Nations agencies and other local and international bodies.

To help relief the Gaza congestion, some of the Gazans should transfer to the West Bank.
