I said the exact same thing. Must have thought it wouldn't get close to them unless in that region they are just THAT used to things like this going on.

Tel aviv just came under rocket attack, feed shown people running for their lives from having a normal day on the beach. How you could be having a normal day at the beach while this is going on I have no idea.

Because Israel has underestimated palestines abilities and so far has told the people that they have no ability to land missiles in those areas for the last few years.

Most probably thought they could ignore the war as it would not go beyond their doorstep and have a nice day at the beach instead.
