US Navy orders Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group to head to Israeli shores

The three Navy ships that were rerouted will not be involved in combat. The US military keeps three to four ships off the coast of Israel that are prepared to shoot down ballistic missiles in case Iran becomes an immediate threat

Surely Israeli troops wont be sending up flares if there was a ground invasion. That give away there were abouts if they have entered on Gazan soil. I think its a flare sent up for Iraeli Navy Shelling.

Why would Hamas and Egypt say that they had a deal if Israel didn't even respond to them?... (rhetorical question)

Precisely. Limited deployment is exactly what they did in 2009. Others would call it an invasion. Either way you don't drop leaflets telling people to leave if you weren't going to send in a few missiles.

Actually it wouldn't matter if you've never trained under a flare. The shadows they throw off will disorient anyone not used to it and make you see movement where there isn't any. Yeah, it increases the danger somewhat, but the advantage is still in the IDF favor.

I just read on twitter that the Hamas is getting scared that they will be liquidated 100% when IDF rolls into town.
