The F-15I Ra'am is the Israeli version of the F-15E, which is a tactical bomber. It can carry 23,000lbs of bombs and missiles, including JDAMs and other precision munitions. It's an outstanding bomber, but not the best fighter in the world.

My son just walked in the room and said "oh wow, so who's winning?" I told him NO ONE, nobody wins in a war like this ............ so sad

OK, see I'm rusty, I thought it was their version of the C. Thanks for educating me.

This might have been a scud or something. I been watching these feeds since day 1 and never seen an explosion this big nor fires this big.

Were there secondaries? I missed the fireworks, I only see the burning building.

Israel has the 2000lb JDAM, as well as the 500 and 1000lb weapons. It most likely was one of those launched from an F-15 or F-16.

There are some opinions, as to what we're hearing (types of aircraft, etc), but we're trying very hard to limit most of what we post to facts, such as explosions, and reports that we're picking up on yes.

It looked like two strikes. One took out a large residence and a smaller strike about 100 yards away.

I just heard a number of what sounded like tanks firing. They sounded like artillery pieces going off. Didn't really sound like explosions, sounded like the camera was near a gun firing. Not sure what that was. Could have been rockets launching.

That would explain the other burning building (to the right in the square, yes?).

It's a pretty good sized hole in a reinforced concrete roof. 1000 pounder. Maybe 2000.

The Occupiedair stream is intermittent, but I can hear the fighters orbiting overhead when it's working. I'm willing to bet that they were responsible for the strike.

The smaller fire was the secondary strike, yes. Looks like EMS has left the scene (probably no one left to save)..
I can't even imagine how frustrating and overwhelming the situation must be for EMS personnel in Gaza..
