And Bradley Manning was allowed access to classified material to. But your not allowed to take it home with you or keep it when you are not even on active reserve duty.

The "makers of the movie" that you're speaking of weren't even involved in the final release of the video with all of the edits made to it. Everyone, including the actors and film crew, shot a different film before it was edited by one individual.

Well Broadwell was tied to US Propaganda Broadcast Board of Governors. Walter Isaacson used to be the chairman there. He is president of the Aspen Institute where she gave out classified information about two prisoners being at the Benghazi Embassy.

Bradley Manning had access to databases, but he wasn't an actual military intelligence officer like Broadwell was.

You have a point there, but any politician would be more than happy to sell the US, in fact most people are perfectly willing to sell anything for the right price. It's only to say that Russian interests are a factor as well as any other interest. Technically the Russians say that a collapse of the US is not in their own economic interests, but that's only to say it's not in their immediate economic interests, in the long run the Russians could stand to gain.

The problem for the Russians is that in a world like Rome when an emperor is offed there's a battle for the position so if the US collapsed the world is likely to sink into war with each of the major players fighting for the top spot. You'll have China, Russia, what's left of the US and Europe going at it. The middle east would probably try their hand, but not likely for top spot, only playing their cards to make sure they stand to gain at least something. Ultimately it's a wild card as to who would gain and who would lose, really everybody looses, but the collapse of the US is an inevitability. No emperor has withstood the test of time.

Edit: I think the succession movement and possibly Broadwell are part of political infighting, the problem is the mismanagement and unexpected consequences. While the two parties, while the classes bicker the balance of power on the world stage is shifting. Perhaps the classes war with one another, but ultimately their feud which has never ceased throughout time has come to a point of collapse yet again.

My understanding is that the information that Broadwell gave out in Colorado was information that had already been reported on Fox News that day.

Those are the three guys who hired the fourth to make the movie. They used him as a fall guy when things got hot.

James Henderson was accused of having ties to organized crime and bribes from Arabic men. And this was a allegation made by the man who first reported that planes were going to be hijacked and flown into the world trade center.

James Henderson the attorney for the fall guy who made the movie was accused of being corrupt by a prisoner in jail who warned a terrorist attack with planes was about to happen just before 9/11. The FBI ignored all the claims against James Henderson even though the guy knew about 9/11 before it happened. They have still never bothered to question the guy. And even though this guy James Henderson quit his job and went to work with the Casinos and later became owner of several casinos in Las Vegas they still have not messed with the guy. And then he shows up as the attorney for a nobody? Who then gets in trouble for a video released on 9/11? James Henderson the attorney stinks.

After all, she blew it completely. If she had not been so impetuous and getting herself involved with the Kelley/Allen mess, they may not have been officially discovered. Plus, in terms of espionage "tradecraft," the whole thing was amateurish. The "trick" was to both have access to each other's accounts, write drafts without sending them, then have the other one access and read the drafts, thus avoiding a trail though the Net. Obviously, the FBI had no problem hacking the accounts. Oops! And a word to the wise for the rest of us. But to top it all off, Broadwell fixed up some dummy accounts to threaten Kelley! So if she was a spy, she was about the dumbest one around.

I understand the realtionship was an "open secret," but without the interference there would have been no reason for the FBI to get involved. Heads will roll, but there's always another General waiting in the wings itching for promotion.

Honestly I still think Kelley has little to do with the whole mess other than a diversion. If Broadwell were a foreign spy as is possible perhaps she was supposed to get caught at some point, like a suicide bomber. She obtained the information she needed and the only step left would be to get herself caught leading to the removal of Petraeus which is akin to an assassination hence the retaliatory strike on Hamas.

However; if this were more in line with political infighting then Broadwell would still play the role of spy, more on the saboteur side. That is Democrats used her to get Petraeus involved in a scandal further weeding out Republican opposition and eating away at Republican power in DC and over the military.

I am trying to catch up and follow this whole mess.

Two things came to my attention today:

Broadwell lost her security clearance today I believe, she didn't have to actually take anything home with her like one poster said, maybe she just memorized stuff.

The other thing I heard was that maybe Patreaus was being blackmailed in or to get good testimony out of him on Benghazi......maybe he thought resigning would get him out of that pickle.

WASHINGTON -- A U.S. official says the Army has suspended the security clearance of the woman who had an affair with CIA Director David Petraeus, triggering his resignation. Paula Broadwell, a West Point graduate, is a former Army intelligence officer and held a high security clearance.

Because her clearance was issued through the Army, it was the service's move to suspend it. It's not unusual for someone's clearance to be suspended if that person is under investigation, particularly in cases of possible security breaches. Officials say that an FBI investigation has revealed that Broadwell sent emails to another woman warning her to stay away from Petraeus.

The FBI also found possibly classified documents on Broadwell's computer.

The official was not authorized to speak publicly about the clearance so requested anonymity.

In another development in the case, the military suspended the Air Force base pass of Tampa socialite Jill Kelley, whose complaints of email harassment led to the discovery of the affair. Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Steven Warren says the decision to indefinitely suspend Jill Kelley's pass to MacDill Air Force Base was made in the last couple of days.

The plot thickens, if that's possible.

That's what I think. Apparently, Petraeus went along with Obama's story when he appeared before Congress on September 14th.

While Petraeus prepares to give his side, lawmakers have begun to openly question when Petraeus first knew about the investigation that uncovered his affair -- and whether it impacted his statements to Congress on Sept. 14 about the Libya terror attack.

Petraeus briefed lawmakers that day that the attack was akin to a flash mob, and some top lawmakers noted to Fox News he seemed "wedded" to the administration's narrative that it was a demonstration spun out of control. The briefing appeared to conflict with one from the FBI and National Counterterrorism Center a day earlier in which officials said the intelligence supported an Al Qaeda or Al Qaeda-affiliated attack.

I guess we'll find out more when Petraeus meets with both the Senate and House Intelligence Committees on Friday. One of the first things they're going to ask him is if the affair or blackmail of the affair affected his testimony to Congress on September 14th.

I'm just speculating out loud. With the amount of information available now it's pretty tough to figure what's going on here, I ran through several other scenarios in my head all of which fit with the information available. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what comes out after the hearings eh?

Hardly that interested in the whole thing, just bored lately I suppose. Started workin' on a new video game today so that should keep my mind busy for a few days.

I find it interesting that Jill Kelly ran visitor tours at the White House for the VA and had a meeting with Keith Fontenot at the White House. It seems she was in charge of 300 or more people at a time at the White House. But yet this woman has no ties to our government and military?

Honestly the whole thing smells like a soap opera. Who knows what's real anymore? The parties involved here probably don't even know the truth, even if they think they do.

This subject just popped into my head again for some reason. The CIA was definitely had by a foreign spy. It's nothing to be ashamed of, that's just the game they play.
