Either the non-profits that are dancing merrily through the U.S tax code, need to be reeled in, or I need to be able to declare myself "non-profit"

Why should we pay more taxes when companies like ABS aren't paying their fair share?

The blame should not be on ABS or companies like them. The blame lies squarely on the suits in D.C. that continue to allow the door to be wide-open... It needs to be slammed shut.

And that is the problem with our huge, 20K+ page tax code. Politicians have been putting in exemptions and rules and loopholes to protect contributors, reward campaign donators and supports, to do social engineering, and to punish people and causes they don't like. We need to do away with it all and jsut have a flat, low income tax with zero exemptions and loophole that applies to everyone or a national sales tax. None of this will improve as long as the Tax code is convoluted as it is.

Politicians definitely bear responsibility. But the root of the problem is that the monied have used their financial power to push legislation that allows this sort of thing to happen and helps perpetuate it. They can buy the media and convince people of just about anything to advance and/or protect their agenda. Not to only pick on the Republicans but one of their longstanding agendas is to eliminate the Capital Gains Tax and Estate Tax. People need to see this for what it is. The 1%ers don't earn W2 or 1099 income like most of us do. Their income comes from investments which falls under Capital Gains. They basically want to end having to pay any tax on their income. Sweet deal. And the Estate Tax covers the transfer of wealth through estates. 90% of taxable estates belong to the top 10%. Almost 50% belong to the 1%. No wonder they want to eliminate that tax and they have been whittling it down for years. Nearly half of Americans die with little or no assets so clearly we can see who benefits from eliminating the Estate Tax. It's all a well orchestarted scam an has been for years. Yet they keep cying 'stop picking on the rich. class warfare, blah, blah' poly want a cracker?

Dear countrymen,
Please write to your congressmen and tell them to stop this madness!!!

Stop the lobbying, loopholing, off-shore exemptions, and corruption that is so rampant. For what it's worth, that's our only recourse except to declare ourselves "non-profits" as well, right??
And they want to tax garage sales??!! Give me a break.

EVERYONE: WRITE TO CONGRESS!!
