I would have:

Before dinner drink - an apéritif (french); a glass of Campari...

Aperitives are meant to stimulate your appetite

For an appetizer; potato skins with bacon, chili, onions and cheese w/sour cream and jalapenos...

Soup; broccoli and cheddar...

Salad; a caesar salad w/bacon, extra cheese, extra dressing hold the croutons...

Main course; surf & turf - a 16 0z New York strip steak, blackened, deep fried in olive oil and cooked med. w/ 3 lb of lobster and 8 butterfly fried jumbo shrimp...

Side dishes; broccoli, fettucine alfredo, cauliflower and fried onion rings...

Desert; key lime pie

After dinner drink - a digestif (french); a brandy sifter with 3 fingers of 100 year old Grand Marnier...

What would you have?

I probably wouldn't have much of an appetite. So a bushel of poppies and a bottle of Johnny Walker would suffice.

McRib, large fries and a chocolate shake

ETA: Oh and some of those great brownies...Can't remember where I get them, it's either KFC or that dude down the hall.

Not necessarily an execution type last meal...more like what is your favorite meal that you would eat if you knew it was your last meal.

Dear ascension211,

I consider myself a food whore and loved your question. Hmmm, how to answer.

Obviously the meal is begun with water with lime and an Apéritif. Appetizers would include calamari. The soup is easy, a lobster bisque and the salad would be a tomato, halfed, cored and stuffed with feta and shrimp, baked for a very short period of time. The entree would be Chateau Briand, I love steak. A baked potato and broccoli with a Hollandaise sauce, calories be damned. LOL. Desert would be a Creme Brulee with a chaser of Grand Marnier. In lieu of that I would gladly have the Prix Fix menu at Guy Savoy's at Ceaser's Palace. Peace.

Eggs & bacon cooked on a smokey campfire, cold toast and a strong coffee under gum trees by the river. My idea of a perfect breaky and if it to be my last, well so be it.

Nobody has said Abalone.
I would go with Calamari, and clam chowder,
A fresh green salad with croutons,
Roast beef, and Abalone,
A sorbet to cleans the pallet.
And then a pomegranate, and watermelon.
Perhaps a pickle for dessert.

The end result of this thread will be weight gain and depression.

I now have to make food at this late hour because I chose to peruse this thread.

But yeah, I would eat 5 lbs of bacon, 3lb lobsters bathed in thick butter, 2 lb medium rare steaks, and I'd follow all that with Caster Oil so I both, enjoy that awesome meal, and also to give the janitor staff something to remember me by.

Dear randomtangentsrme,

Or perhaps a deep fried pickle. It make me think of Arlo Guthrie's song about a pickle. Arlo Guthrie - Ride My Motorcycle. I hope you enjoy the song.
