Orange ATS and the Pentacle

Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm missing some thread on this...

But ATS... it's orange. Slightly more alarming than the customary blue... nice touch. However, it clashes with the still blue buttons, IMO.

Anyhow, during loading, I notice a subtle, downward facing five pointed star within the design. Interesting.

Whatever may be thought of this thread, but I would like to ask whether or not there is any known special purpose for the change in scenery? Also, can any of you see what I'm talking about with the star in the orange?

Special purpose? Money, duh!

It's not a star. It's just the design of rays of light, or whatever.

Good answer, and thanks for the pic.

I could tell it was a bigger crisscrossing pattern, but still, on the area visible it certainly appears like an upside down star, at last on my screen.

It's a change, which is nice, but hadn't it been years since a layout change here on ATS?

And what strikes me as odd is that nothing but the background was changed. they had this cool blue theme going on, like UFO energy or whatever, but now the theme is uncertain.

Maybe the shift to orange is in response to the growing popularity of solar related threads...

I don't believe its an advert. Never seen an advert change the background color and design of an entire website, page for page.

I dislike the orange so much, I zoomed my screen in (ctrl+) even more to get rid of it..
