I just have to say it, as I see it more and more

e.g. I "could of" said the same thing! is WRONG!

Proper grammar is "I could have said the same thing."

This comes from sloppy teaching and pronunciation to confuse the abbreviation "could've" for "could of".

Should of = should've
had of =had've
I'd of= I'd've

Now it's been said! I could've left it alone, but the devil made me do it!

Perhaps you are an adult user of such a grammatical error, and thought perhaps you could've made this error somewhere to have invoked this thread?

I guestimate that one out of 20 threads contains little to no grammar and spelling mistakes which is quite shocking knowing that there is an auto-correcting function when you write your threads as well as comments.

The only thing I would like to point out is that I'd've does not exist in the world of abbreviations.

I think this partly relates to the fact that people are reading less, so they don't actually see words as often as they used to do, and they pick up their spelling from the sloppy pronunciation of others.
That's why, to take another example, the old saying "If you think that, you've got another think coming" has been corrupted into the meaningless "you've got another thing coming".

Does not ATS pay spelling cops a bonus?

BTW where is the auto correct feature? All I get is a red under score.

You want to gripe about something, how about penmanship. Now here is a RANT worthy Topic.
