Virgin Mary Spotted on the Side of a Hospital Wall in Malaysia... People Gathering, page 1

The apparition started over a week ago and gradually filled out over this past weekend. As it did, more and more people are gathering daily to gaze at the appearance of what some believe is the Virgin Mary. Some will say its a naturally-caused acid etching on a metallic panel that just happens to look like a person. Others will say it's some kind of sign from heaven; impending doom? Impending peace on Earth? Who knows. The skeptic in me would say it's just acid rain taking it's toll on the side of an old Malaysian hospital building. What do you think?

Prayerful crowds of Roman Catholics have gathered outside the Sime Darby Medical Center in a suburb near Kuala Lumpur since last weekend after an image believed to resemble the Virgin Mary was spotted on the hospital's seventh-floor window.

One word: Cheesus.

I saw what looked very much like Jimi Hendrix in a loaf of bread once, although for some reason I didn't immediately jump to the conclusion he was trying to communicate with me......... the mind is a powerful thing... interpretation of the mind is not an exact science....

Our eyes are trained to see human form, not every picture we see are from divine source, tho there is a lot of unsolved mysteries. I see only stain on the window, can´t see face at all.

This picture is not to offence anyone´s beliefs just to show you where we see human forms

Did you make that image yourself? Someone took the time to import that image into a paint program and zoom in to composite an image on it.

EDIT: Just so readers know, it is a part of a dog you most likely dont want to see. Dont want people clicking on it who may be eating lunch.

No i did not. Its just the way our eyes works. We see human form in clouds, glazed tiles and when we see abstract pattern our brains wants to turn it to something what makes sense.

And thank you for being more precise, didn´t think about people who might be eating

Also some might see Alien in this one ( i think its cookie or dough )

Just pointing out that it is not a good example since it is fake. It's true that humans are naturally experts at recognizing human faces probably even from the day we are born, but if some object looks like a human face or form then that is what it looks like.

If I were to hold stock in the supernatural aspect of this, I'd be very worried. To me, it looks like a divine woman having a miscarriage. In the yearly cycles, this is the time of the year when Goddess is heading into her crone/mother aspects and will give birth to the God.

This sign would mean that the next phases of fertility will be aborted and stopped. This would mean no crops, bad weather, famine, etc.

Even though I don't believe in this image as a sign from above, it's still unsettling with the 2012 myths roaming around.
