I want to delete a thread of mine - possible?

Hey. So what are the ways to get one's own thread deleted? I personally have updated one of my threads, but it uses too much of the original to justify a second thread alongside the first.

It would be a great deal easier to have the original removed. I can understand some problems, like deleting comments of other users. But 1) that happens anyways when a thread is removed, even if those comments were benign, and 2) in the thread I'm referring to, there wasn't a great deal of relevant response, so nothing much would be lost.

(I'm referring to the Meat Consumption vs Libertarianism thread)

What do the mods think?

I would say "Alert" on the thread in question and plead your case in the u2u.

Send a U2U to a supermoderator, use "complaints" (people do this frequently... you can say "I just want this deleted", or send an alert.

I did that already. I got no response. That's why I opened this thread in the first place

Is there something additional I need to do?
