Liberation only exist for the absolute.

Is the 'absolute' separate from you?

Not technically. But I personally have never seen the whole universe all at once.

There is nothing separate. It is one.
All there is is this. Until this is realized (known for sure) you will suffer.

Just because I am not separate from the absolute does not mean my perception is absolute. It is relative. I want it to be absolute.

Then stop looking at things that are not. Imagination.
'This experience' is all. Delve into 'this experience' and you will know what is real.

Making things up and imagining that you can know things you can never know will fragment you and cause conflict. Stick with what is real.

And what experiences in life are real?

Why ask?
Did you already know the answer?

'This' experience is all that is real.

But you don't know what I might can one day know. I believe that I can one day see the universe but I believe it requires an effort.

What is present is what can be known. What is not present is a story being told. The story being told (in thought and projection) can be known presently arising. Nothing can arise without your presence.
Seeing and hearing takes no effort.
What is appearing is the current configuration.

I think I understand what you're saying, however, I think that on a primal level, yes we are driven to do things that would get us the basic necessities of life. But after those needs are met then we are able to have some freedom to choose what to do with the needs above that. To a large degree yes, our lives do run sort of on autopilot. I think freedom happens he moment we break out of the autopilot and start to make direct choices to steer the course of our lives. And I think the most important realization we all must come to grips with is if we believe there's a God and start to cultivate a genuine relationship with him. From what I've seen those that do that often seem to be the most happy the most at peace, the most free from the material enslavement and worries of this world. it's like they've at least figured out the big picture of life and have found true freedom.

Happiness and sadness are opposite sides of the same coin. You will never have one without the other, because they are interdependent. So if a person seeks happiness, he is unknowingly chasing sadness as well.

God is not an entity. If god was an entity, then what is beyond its borders? God is everything and every non-thing, including you.
