GideonFaith, The Monster I Have Created, By Quadrivium (A Now Lonely and Depressed Husband)[CTPWC]

Dear ATS,
This is a sad tale of two loves I have lost in the last couple of days. My heart is breaking and I don't know what to do. How can you get back what is now lost? How can you ever go back to the way things were? We have some great minds here on ATS and I ask that you help me find a way out of the situation I find myself in.

The Monster I Have Created

I have spent many a day here on ATS.
I love posting and debating,
This I must confess.

I would spend hours at a time,
watching this screen.
And my wife, well after a while,
she can get kinda mean.

Sometimes she would fuss,
about my time on here.
Then start to cuss,
when I asked for a beer.

What was I to do,
to get her off my back?
The way things were going
she was gonna have a heart attack.

Not wanting my wife's death,
on my hands.
I came up with an idea
and started the plans.

Late one evening,
as we sat down to dinner.
I laid out my idea
and she thought it was a winner.

We set her up an account
here on ATS.
I am almost too upset
to tell you the rest.

GideonFaith she chose,
as her screen name.
And around my house?
Things will never be the same.

She caught on quick,
faster than I could believe.
Now she is making threads.
How could I be so naive?

My time here now is short,
for I have to cook and I have to clean.
While she is getting stars and flags,
like an ATS machine.

Such a good idea,
I thought I had.
How could I know
it would turn out so bad?

She has been going at it,
for two days straight.
And is now throwing punches
like a junior lightweight.

Sometimes I sneak over,
to give her a kiss.
And to catch a glimpse of her screen,
for it is ATS that I miss.

I hate to say this, but most of it is true! Since he posted so much about me, the dog house he shall find.

Madea isn't out of mind just yet!! Don't worry he will be sorry he wrote this poem before it's over!!

1. Need popcorn!

2. Days of our lives is on the TV. We do not need it on ats.

I think I may just toss a coin.

Yep, heads, OK pass the popcorn.

Throw soft things only. No water pistols near the computers. Nerf guns are fine.

It doen't take a great mind to know,
That ATS had stolen your wife & intimacy grown cold,
It's ATS you missed, left your heart a hole
Not your wife, sadly and very low.

Taking care of household and lawn to mow,
are your tasks now, as you daily behold,
May you realize what's more important to hold,
ATS, or wife, you reap what you sow.

Love by far is precious, more than gold,
ATS can wait, be ignored or put on hold,
But time passes like water it flows,
Spend precious time TOGETHER, before life goes....

All too often I find someone or something on ATS that will get my blood boiling. I find that this forum is a place I can let off steam and have a little fun at the same time.
The fact of the matter is, I am a little jealous of how quick she caught on and how thought provoking some of her post are (I didn't know she was so smart ).
We poke fun at people sometimes on ATS, I just get to do it to the one I love. So pass the popcorn around and enjoy the show!!!

I have read so many poems the past couple of weeks that I can't remember all of the authors.
Have you entered any into the mix? If not, I would encourage you to do so.

We have been married for 19 years and dated for 3 three years prior to that. All of the things that could potentially be used as deadly weapons have long since been thrown and broken

Make sure you have a big bowl of popcorn. I don't throw anything soft. What would be the point in that? If I'm going to throw it, I want it to hurt.
