It's interesting how we project all this weird subconscious stuff onto celebrities...

A lot of men hate Beiber simply because he's popular with adolescent girls. Meanwhile those young girls seem to channel their young libido into some kind of weird worship of Bieber or others like him. Its like a sublimation process or something.

Then it becomes a topic for joking like in this thread. I think its funny too, I'm not criticizing. But why do we have these reactions?

There is something a bit bizzare about how all of us relate to these two kids. They are just kids after all. How do they become the focus for all this strange emotional stuff?

First off - let me just say that I would've NEVER clicked to read this thread, but I saw the OP's name and took that to be a good omen. ThePharaoh is a good investigator / researcher / writer IMO, and I thought that some juicy conspiracy may just have been cooked up...
