Of course it is legal and the only logical course to take. Only a dumbbutt would decrease his chances by announcing it before the election. I'm happy we don't have such a dumbbutt as our President. Truthfully though I don't think the news would have changed the election much.

It's the strangest thing. I really do still want to trust him, as if deep down I intuitively know he was set up.

I am thinking he was blackmailed.

If Rice had went on only one show with her talking point, but she went on many.

So the talking points were purposely altered before the election, is one guess.

I don't think it would have changed the election much either.

He could have sprouted horns and a tail and it wouldn't have changed the election.

But there is more to this Benghazi story then just talking points.

Yet Ms. Kelley carved out that role for herself, one way the couple became fixtures of the Tampa social scene, throwing charity soirees and mixing with city and military dignitaries, current and former defense officials said. At MacDill, she started by organizing parties for the collection of liaison officers from Middle Eastern and central Asian countries, as well as countries fighting in Afghanistan, before moving on to charity events, according to the officials.

Interestingly, wackjob twin-sister Natalie Khawam's ex-husband -to whom she lost a bitter child-custody battle- is Grayson Wolfe, the same guy that dished out mucho dinero in Iraq while serving as 'Director of Broader Middle East Initiatives and Iraqi Reconstruction and Special Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at the Export-Import Bank of the United States.'

NATALIE KHAWAM’S EX-HUSBAND, GRAYSON WOLFE WAS, “Director of Broader Middle East Initiatives and Iraqi Reconstruction and Special Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at the Export-Import Bank of the United States”

White House, with concurrence by the FBI and Justice Department, held off on asking for Petraeus’ resignation until after the election.

FBI agents on the case expected that Petraeus would be asked to resign immediately rather than risk the possibility that he could be blackmailed to give intelligence secrets to foreign intelligence agencies or criminals. In addition, his pursuit of the woman could have distracted him as the CIA was giving Congress reports on the attack on the Benghazi consulate on Sept. 11.

The CIA ‘s reporting to Congress included a claim that protests over a YouTube video played a role in the attacks, thus allowing Obama to initially discount the possibility that the U.S. had suffered another terrorist attack just before the election.

In contrast, based on real time video and reports, the State Department was reporting that the attack that led to the deaths of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, was terrorist-related. The State Department reported that there were no protests at the consulate.

Still, the White House, with concurrence by the FBI and Justice Department, held off on asking for Petraeus’ resignation until after the election. His resignation occurred three days after the election, avoiding the possibility that Obama’s ill-fated appointment of Petraeus could become an issue in the election.

FBI agents on the case were aware that such a decision had been made to hold off on forcing him out until after the election and were outraged.

“The decision was made to delay the resignation apparently to avoid potential embarrassment to the president before the election,” an FBI source says. “To leave him in such a sensitive position where he was vulnerable to potential blackmail for months compromised our security and is inexcusable.”

Is this even legal?

So the White house knew yet held off until after the election?

They also made implimentation of Obamacare not set in until after the election and extended the Bush taxs cuts until after the election, and told Medved that he couldn't deal with the Russians until after the election. Presumedly because they knew that if the effects of all of this stuff started coming out, they would not get re-elected.

The Benghazi thing is beginning to sound like some John LeCarre novel.

I'm beginning to think our whole intel network is compromised and I'm not talking about Petraeus.

Our president is not our pal and he never was.

She has a top level FBI security clearance. I would imagine she had access to such information as a result.

I seen that, I think the quote along with the picture insinuates he was betraying the administration.

The douche in the WH has a lot to answer for. He played some seriously dirty politics before the election.

Remember him crying, thanking those who supported him? I think they were tears of laughter.

I remember that, I was thinking how releaved he must be that he pulled another one off, who knows what his handlers would have subjected him to if he had failed.

High ranking official wanted Kelly to deal with,
Bubba the love sponge?

Emails released today sent between Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and 37-year-old Kelley reveal that she was indeed acting at the behest of high-level U.S. government officials and implored the mayor to act.

'I have Petraeus & Allen both emailing me about getting this dealt with,' Kelley wrote to Buckhorn on March 7th.
