Is the threat of fundamentalist terrorism being used in a similar way as in the movie 1984 with the imaginary threat of Emmanuel Goldstein?

Yes. There was no actual Goldstien and there are very few actual terrorists capable of threatening the CONUS(Continental United States). That is why the FBI must set up and frame "terrorists" here in the USA. They train, motivate, advise, and ultimately betray disaffected individuals and call them "terrorists". Then they shout for all to hear about how they "thwarted another terrorist attack". The sheeple buy it hook line and sinker. Very sad.

Why don't people catch on to that old trick?

They do that over and over again.

Because people cant be sure what to believe.

It reminds of the philosophy of:

Some are leaders and Some are followers. The majority are follows.

Now whether you subscribe to this or not is of course up to you, but in my opinion i am seeing a trend of people becoming more apathetic and want to be lead, as long as they have food, shelter and a TV, they could care less.

The Hegelian Dialectic has been around for a long time simply because it works very well against people who are not paying attention. For whatever reason, whether by design or not, the nicest thing that can be said about the American people is that they are not paying attention.

Why do people automatically assume conspiracy theory is a fake/hoax even bilderberg members say that they want a one world order or global governance?

I mean seriously its like they are programmed to ignore certain arguments when certain words pop up.

In my humble opinion..

Because people are afraid.

They are afraid of change.
THey are afraid of things that break their routine.

If it doesnt have a green lawn and a white picket fence, they doubt it exists. They dont want to believe there is any other truth then their religious leaders and political leaders.

This is not everyone, but certainly could apply to many.

I agree.

I mean look at...
-WTC7 not being hit by anything yet falls...?
-the patriot act
-extending the unconstitutional "patriot" act
-Bilderberg Club(illegal).
-No WMD in iraq
-ndaa
-warrentless surveillance
-fusion centers
-murdering american citizens without standing a jury trail of his peers(aliwaki)
-gitmo being open in a 1st year 21st century civilization
-infinite world war on terror
-bin laden employed by CIA
-trillions stolen in a 4 year period.
-CISPA
-TSA prisoner patdowns
-TSA prisoner checkpoints
-reeducation centers
-FEMA shelters
-elevated interrogation
-banks stealing people's homes they didn't even own
-drones...domestic spy drones
-infragard stasi force
-civilian corps/FEMA corps
-DHS(the american gestapo)
-fast and furious(arms trafficking to cartels)

Seriously you would think people would catch on by now.
