No. I must disagree. Leave the divisiveness to the folks that love class warfare, play the race card, pit us against each other.

There is a certain segment of the voting population who votes for whoever promises them more of other peoples money. Whether it be the welfare parasites, or the corporate welfare parasites, they arent likely to change their attitudes, so measures must be taken to prevent them from having a say in how our money is spent.
There are exponentially more "have nots" in this country than there are "haves". The "have nots" want what the "haves" have. Since they refuse to earn it themselves, they vote it to themselves instead. Instead of showing up to work every day and making something of themselves, they show up to the voting booth on a single day.
There is nothing wrong with restricting voting to landowners and people who actually pay taxes. Afterall, it is their money, they and they alone should vote for how it is spent.

You know what? America has spoken and you lost.
GET OVER IT. Enough of the inflammatory comments and fearmongering. Now is the time to heal, not tear this country apart any more than you already have.
If you're so unhappy, leave and start your own country. Nobody's stopping you, and I will personally help you pack and drive you to the airport, free of charge.
Thank you for revealing the TRUE nature of the "Big Party" tent - the Democrats. The "inclusive, inviting and diverse" party that they claim to be but aren't in any remote way.
I've already said my good-bye to America and have also finished grieving the loss of it. Now I am simply preparing for life AFTER America, in America. One that is going to be filled with chaos, anarchy, hardships and pain. I'm preparing - I suggest the rest of my non-Democrat friends do the same.
Attention Democrats: DO NOT even think about coming to me for help or aid. You voted for this and you will live with it - on your own!

CBO disagrees with the ops.
Think I will go with bipartisan professionals than some partisan conspiracy theorist about the economic outlook of the country..especially when said partisan is part of the party that has increased the debt massively whenever they entered office.
So ya...gonna stick with reality on this one..but its good to have a strong debate about debt. Dick Cheney's remarks on how debt doesn't matter sickened me then and now. they do matter.

Here is what is not going to change with the Presidency (the house reps, the senate or the SCJ's):
43% of our budget goes to the miliary and to medical.
The US takes in 2.2 trillion dollars.
The US spends 3.5 trillion dollars.
We have to keep borrowing money and raising the debt ceiling otherwise our Government defaults.
If the US government defaults, the military does not get paid. All governement offices close. Social Security and Medicaid stop...and so on.
This isn't about communism, marxism, socialism or any of that crap. Those are old world fear mongering tactics used to make us "free folk" feel scared.
This is all about the Benjamins.
You have to cut government spending and it is going to hurt like a bitch. No more free hand outs. A culling of the military (which will hurt industries related to it), a huge reduction in government medical programs...a privatization of the school system....adn the list goes on.
You have to spend less than you take in so that the loans and the national debt can actually go in the other direction.

I just don't see what the big fuse is about socialism??? In many aspects Canada is a socialist nation. Look at our health care system. Here in Alberta I pay roughly 450.00 bucks a year to Alberta Health and I'm covered for just about everything. Plus on top of that I have health insurance from work which covers the rest.edit on 9-11-2012 by RedShirt73 because: (no reason given)

Actually you lost, and you dragged the rest of us down with you, fell right into the trap, chose to believe the lies you were being fed.
