Look at countries that are communist. The people are very poor and barley eat. It does not make everyone the same. You still have the "haves", and they are the ones at the top, government etc, while everyone else is oppressed. It does not make everyone equal, it makes a few control the many. I
It creates an environment where there is no reward for your work. You can not just work harder and make more money, buy a house and start a business.
There is no free market. It takes away hope. Even places that are not communist, but socialist, look at the home prices. I have friends moving here from England next month. My 1300 sf house is 750 a month, This same house there would cost almost a million dollars. Look at home prices in Canada, also very high.
The average family can not just buy a house. These are just some examples.

Actually a trade war is EXACTLY what we need! It will bring back jobs to america, stop overseas corporate imperialism like forcing cheap labor, increase revenue for the government indirectly(many people choose to buy foreign merchandise), lower taxes.
Think again my friend!
The jews in wall street will tell everyone otherwise....
You may have a few more jobs but you won't be able to buy anything because prices will be too high.. You want to build wealth -- not jobs. Jobs should be a side-effect of wealth. No one wants to work for work's sake. They want the stuff that they get with work.
The 'jews on wall street' allocate resources more efficiently than you would. That's why they're 'investment' banks. They're the reason your retirement portfolios and savings don't have the value of a 3rd world country's resource allocations.
If you were a better investor, you'd own your own investment bank instead of the 'jews'.edit on 11/11/12 by RedDragon because: (no reason given)
Your opinion is so wrong that it would actually be better policy to still allow using overseas labor and just give unemployed people useless make-work jobs like digging holes or something. You'd have more wealth, higher wages, and, because of the useless make-work, a lower unemployment rate than your plan.edit on 11/11/12 by RedDragon because: (no reason given)
When your world-view has devolved into racism and ignorance, it might be time to pick up an economics 101 textbook and educate yourself.edit on 11/11/12 by RedDragon because: (no reason given)

Ironically, more like fascism. Whatever happened to closing Guantanamo Bay? The whole thing is so idiotic.

I would say that religion has much to do with our problems. It galls me that people keep forcing religion into politics. The founding fathers had enough foresight to include separation of church and state because they probably saw this as a possibility. We have not a national religion because we are a melting pot of religions. Religion is farcical but I do not hold that against anyone.
Corporations and banksters are this countries biggest problem as is the growing ignorance. We may be better off if we can do what Iceland is currently doing.

GET OVER IT. Enough of the inflammatory comments and fearmongering. Now is the time to heal, not tear this country apart any more than you already have.
If you're so unhappy, leave and start your own country. Nobody's stopping you, and I will personally help you pack and drive you to the airport, free of charge.

Obama did say he was attempting to rebuild America from what was left by the previous Wars, given the economy there will be a struggle but as long as its not another war then there may be a chance of recovery, there is always going to be a level of loss somewhere when a country is being rebuilt.

YOU know what? Idiots have spoken and we ALL lost, including YOU. Why don't you pay attention to smart people for a change.
Wait.
The educated people have spoken.
There are those who can't be convinced this is the right path for the country and they have a severe lack of formal education, zero economics and a biased and skewed version of history in common. None of them voted Obama. I work with some hard core southerners who literally cling to their guns and fit all the stereotypes you can come up with. It is awfully solemn around the old homestead. The schools they went to wouldn't pass for schools in NY. The restaurants they operate can't hold a candle to those we have in NY. They are kind of BACKWARDS and SLOW compared to New Yorkers who are as I recall generally liberal progressive and democratic. I had to stop myself from calling one of the chicks STUPID this evening in fact because she came out with stuff like this. Are you all listening to the same websight or something?

Wrong. Half of voting Americans spoke one way and the other half a different way. Over 58 million Americans voted for Romney. The difference was a few million votes and even many of those votes represented illegals voting, fraudulent voting, vote flipping machines etc.
Also there were millions who voted for third parties(mostly Libertarian but some may have been Green party and Constitution Party) or did not vote at all because they felt disenfranchised by both the major parties, even some Repubs apparently.edit on 11-11-2012 by ThirdEyeofHorus because: (no reason given)
