Maybe 1/3 are just desperate for any form of sexual contact..?

Or maybe they think its some kind of free dental checkup?

Hopefully they'll use fresh rubber gloves.

Thisis how the little darlings work. When they want to pass a law/statute that's unpopular, first create a climate of fear over a period of months or years, then by the time the Bill gets heard people are crying out to be "protected" and believe wholeheartedly that the Goverment has their best interests at heart and what a good idea it is.

The same is happening in the UK and has been for many many years. At first I never believed it when I was younger but as I've grown up, I see the pattern emerging time after time. At the moment they are wanting to microchip children (like they do dogs!). They say its to keep kids safe. Hmmmm. So for the last few years we've had constant unending stories and headlines about child abductions etc. Now when this was first mooted people were up in arms, now if you speak to folk, well they're not so sure now and maybe it IS a good idea!

See how it works? Creates a door to do almost anything they want if they can gain public support, then in years to come when we're all tagged and bagged they can turn around and say "Well its what you wanted"

Its bad enough we have to complete their ridiculous census every 10yrs and give them every drop of information bar grandma's shoes size let alone be chipped and then of course there's the National DNA Data Base question too which of course is for our own good they wouldn't dream of accessing that information for any other purpose!

Nearly 1/3 of Americans would consent to body cavity search to fly

www.infowars.com

A new survey commissioned by Infowars and conducted by Harris Interactive has found that almost one third of American adults would accept a “TSA body cavity search” in order to fly, with a majority of Americans also feeling a law that would make disobeying a TSA agent in any public place illegal is reasonable.

The shock results emphasize the level of indignity Americans are willing to tolerate in order to travel.

1/3 of Americans needs to be explained verbally what "Body Cavity Search" actually means, before they can make a sound decision.

Think about how long it would take to do body cavity searches of the passengers on one 747 aircraft. The room needed for privacy and the hygiene issues would be extremely problematic! I use to be an airline training instructor and safety, airport security along with passenger pre-board screening were my areas of responsibility. This was in the 80s and we knew then we had a limited ability to protect an airplane. I will not go into any of the weaknesses of the process but let me state that if someone is willing to die it is very difficult to stop them. Will current screening help catch potential threats? Absolutely! Is it fail safe? No!

Wouldn't this be more a pick and choose process? Like they do with explosives swabbing? Pick someone whom they don't like the look of and strip search them?

That is true but that process could be expanded if there were an indication of a specific risk ( a call that someone on the plane has a weapon or bomb). If the selection process were subjective there is the chance the suspect might just happen to be very good looking. I personally would not be a suspect in that case. Additionally, it would not take very long for most people to complain if they had to undergo just one body cavity search. Airlines are having a difficult time making a profit now and I doubt they would just stand by and watch their passenger numbers go down without complaining.

Put another way,

Fully 2/3's of America REJECTS the idea of a cavity search. In a free society, majority rules.

2,000 plus were sampled for this poll. Where in the hell did they find them? I can only imagine...

So, 1/3 of Americans would consent? I think not. The TSA just wants you to get comfortable with the idea of their officers sticking their middle fingesr where it does not belong. If you're part of the 1/3 sample who thought this would be Neato, pick the agent with the smallest hands....

The nation got comfortable with a socialist for President, they will get comfortable with this as well. Sad day... Just be sure to wear your track suits when traveling. It makes the job much easier for the TSA. No buttons or belts to slow them down...

Most people surveyed must of thought that this was a dental exam....
The same group would gladly eat a mountain oyster without question.

I don' t fly.

If any of you gave a hoot, you wouldn't either.

I wont fly. They can have their airplanes. I have my car.

If everyone didn't fly, they would change the rules.

But each and every one of you that fly and complain about it are hypocrites and nothing will change.

lol
seriously? I did not get that survey...I refuse to fly anyway; but my theory is 1/3 of people just secretly want a strangers arm elbow deep or where joking around with the survey. So I call this study, poll or whatever it is a correlation; with no real truth in it...when it comes to a true sampling of Americans.

Soon, they will discover online polls are; in no way shape or form accurate. I'd click yes just out of it being such a dumb question...and needless to say online surveys cannot detect ironic answers. Like ohhhh...yes; I'd reallly like the TSA elbow deep in my bum....CHECK.

I would hope that they'd realize over 2/3rds of the people on the internet; are on it for entertainment purposes only, and those 2/3rds use the internet, as an escape into fantasy land, they lie, pretend, and play around...because to them online doesn't matter, it's a game, not an actual tool, or real life...sheesh.
