Osmanagic doesn't make much on this venture, he doesn't have to, he has a good income. What is wrong with this project, it is helping the local economy which is in poor shape. It is cheap to go help there, it is also good exercise and enjoyable being part of the excavation.

I see much deceit in the Societies of the world. I do not believe the theories of the building of the other pyramids that they are saying is true and has evidence to back them. Where is the real evidence, recycled of course, made into weapons over thousands of years by people who wanted to control societies. Any evidence that does not substantiate perception of the time has been discounted and destroyed throughout history. People who overthrew other cultures destroyed everything they could, this has been going on for many thousand years. People are very destructive, wanting to put their ways and styles into what surrounds them. If the pyramids wouldn't have been so huge, they would have been destroyed worse.

I have worked construction most of my life, working in masonry, building construction, road working, groundwork, etc... I have worked many professions, I know what can be done by people as well as what can't. I see flaws in the theories presently being taught as real by the present archeological community. People two thousand years ago were very intelligent and much stronger than we are today. They still couldn't have built these great structures with the technology that archeologists presently say was used. They could have figured out ways to do these construction projects though if they had more tools made of iron. Where is the evidence? Recycled and discounted. Nobody can convince me that what is being said by the present archeologists in charge of archeology perception is true. There is a logical reason that these iron tools are not around.

I would like to go to Bosnia but I doubt if it is a rational use of our savings which we will be needing soon to supply our future retirement needs. I can enjoy the movies and talks by Sami when I see him again. He is a nice guy. I see the people in the videos enjoying themselves digging at these sites. People like you and I enjoying ourselves, getting exercise, and learning at the same time. Maybe it is not the best run project in the world, but it does allow us regular people to enjoy ourselves. We can't sit on the sideline and watch others discover things. It is also important to note at this time, all sciences are paid for by the consumer. Everything gets passed on to people buying things or being taxed. All donations by corporations, all contributions to sciences are paid for by the consumer. One way or another, we are all paying for science. Where will science get their money when this world economy collapses, you can't get blood out of a turnip. I think they will continue trying as will the advertising community which also is paid for by the consumer. How cheap would life be if we weren't supporting these overpriced sections of our economy. Their jobs are not as necessary as a farmer or fishermans job.

Many pyramids and sites were destroyed over time, not all cultures destroyed all other cultures, in many cases the first culture simply absorbs the invaders, as did the Chinese with the Mongols, or the opposite in with the Romans absorbing the Greeks

People are unknowingly participating in fraud all over the place. They donate and participate in charities where only twenty percent of the money collected actually goes to the intended use, with most of the money getting used up in administration.

People pay taxes and the taxes are wasted on projects that do nothing other than stimulate the economy of an area that does not need to be stimulated.

The stock market is based on belief with the value of stocks exceeding the asset value of the company by many fold. Look at the ponzie schemes in the stockmarkets over the years, people have lost a lot of money on what was supposed to be an investment regulated by the government.

If you think the little labor that is donated to the pyramid excavation is a scam, it is a cheap scam. At no time has Sami asked anyone at the organization I belong to for money. A couple of people went to help over there and had a great time and learned how to dig for artifacts. I learned the hard way, by destroying a few things and lots of studying. I've read many hundred articles on how to properly dig these things and watched a few videos by archeologists as they dug for things. I would have benefited by going there instead of spending hundreds of hours researching this stuff.

I have nothing against any of the sciences other than the fact that some people in them are overpowering. Many of them deny things without even looking at them personally. This is not a good scientific practice but I have seen it many time. I know that people see what they know also. A geologist sees the type of rock but doesn't see shapes well. The people who study a science for many years often think their knowledge is far more important than others knowledge. They think they deserve more than others because of their knowledge...... This is not just a science issue though, I see it in the trades also where people think their Knowledge makes them deserve way more than a person starting out. Most times their work doesn't justify their wage because these people have gotten spoiled and don't think they have to work hard anymore because of their experience.

Presenting a hill as a 'pyramid' is a lie, the evidence points to it being a natural hill and yes they make money doing so. If you want to support a charlatan, so be it, but please don't try to justify it because,'other people do things I don't like and the world social order sucks'

If you want to do archaeological digs, great, there is a sticky thread above on how you can do that. I recommend going on a dig to everyone capable of doing so - its even better if you go on one that is legitimate

Its called a 'ridge' in the real world not an 'access plateau'. If that is part of the claim then its isn't a 'pyramid' to begin with........

There is no concrete there are sediments from an ancient lake bottom that form layers that to an amateur might look like pavement - but not to a geologist who would know them as Miocene clastic sediments.

So do all the other hills that Osmie claims are 'pyramids' also line up on the edges to cardinal directions? If not why does he claim it as evidence of manufacture for one and not for the others?

Oh a note, its not considered cricket to use one's own book as evidence for the subject of the book....circular reasoning and all that....Why do you feel is the reason for independent geologists not agreeing with his ideas?

In my book The Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun—the discovery of the first European pyramid (Sarajevo, 2005), I wrote that under the pyramids in Visoko, we will discover an underground tunnel network of passages and chambers. My hypothesis was met by rejection by parts of cultural establishment.

But, that’s exactly what happened. Several hundred meters of tunnel route that leads to the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun was cleared and secured for visits of tens of thousands of researchers and tourists in the period 2005 to 2010. The distance from the tunnel’s entrance to the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun is almost three kilometers, so the process of wall supporting and the research will continue over the next few years.

At the foot of the tunnels we discovered organic materials, and inside passages we found stalactites and stalagmites whose age can be determined by radiocarbon methods. Six samples were sent to three leading European laboratories in Sweden, Germany and Poland.

The network of underground tunnels was built in conglomerate layers that were deposited over the course of tens of thousands of years. In the wall of the conglomerate, we discovered a piece of wood, dimensions 35 x 18 x 12 centimeters. From one sample, the age was determined at the Department for Radioisotopes in the Institute of Physics of Silesian University in Gliwice (Poland). Head of department Dr. Anna Pazdur signed a report in which the estimated age is 34,000 years (+ /-1,500 years). Dr. Pazdur announced this news at a press conference during the First International Scientific Conference on Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids in August, 2008. Another sample of the same wood was analyzed by a Leibnitz laboratory for radiometric dating and study of stable isotopes at Christian-Albrecht University in German Kiel, and the estimated age is 30,600 years (+540 /- 510 years).

So in this way, the beginning of the process of creating a conglomerate is estimated at more than 30,000 years.

Yep he's dated the natural conglomerate.....if you go out into your back yard and dig down a few meters and test any materials you find there you'll find things dating back millions of years to tens of thousands to a few hundred or more modern if the terrain has been disturbed
