You know, that is hilarious to hear you say because as I think back. I do distinctly recall hosts saying that very thing openly after Clinton won re-election. They were almost thankful, in a tongue in cheek kinda way...but then, not. lol... He did give the conservative talk radio set 4 more years of material, to be sure.

When Beck was 100% radio he was good. More entertainment than politics and downright funny. I think he was half way decent at CNN and even his first part of time at Fox. He'd still remained decent on the radio show all that time as I listened on Satellite radio daily on the truck. Then....... I don't know what happened to him but his shows dropped pretty much ALL entertainment and politics became a crusade to him. A literal all consuming crusade. I think it really has consumed what was decent in him too. It's been sad to watch from being a fan before he was even notably political.

He sure doesn't represent conservatives in general with the extreme sides he takes and his all around doom and gloom got old years ago, IMO.

Actually I registered Republican in 1964 - - and only changed it this year to non-affiliated.

I'm now more Centrist then anything - - the Republican Party left me - - - with their extremism.

By todays PC standards, you are right, but I don't believe any of those things are actually true, the definitions have just been expanded to include EVERYTHING!

Agreed. Their is no greater threat to the human species or the planet's well-being than your garden variety white, anglo-saxon, christian american male. Romney got the same percentage of the white male vote as George Bush Sr., and that was enough for him to win. That is no longer the case.

The demographics have made it so that you cannot win by alienating the "other".

Put another way, Obama won while suggesting:

Raising taxes on the rich
Defending a plan many think is "socialized medicine"
Defending governement spending
Embracing gays
Embracing minorities
Embracing women
