You just HEAVILY IMPLIED that White people are racist, Christians are religious zealots, heterosexuals are homophobic, and men are sexist.
Well...as white, 35 yr old American male in the midwest let me set the record straight that as a demographic white people ARE racist, Your
garden-variety American Christian these days ranges between "zealot" and "Taliban-esque Fanatic", men as a whole are very sexist, and a whole lot
of heterosexuals are homophobic to the point that it's no longer an adjective but rather a medical term found in the DSM-IV.
That's just reality, pal. Just because it's embarrassing and ought to us white males rather ashamed of our more regressive compadres doesn't mean
that it isn't accurate.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.
By todays PC standards, you are right, but I don't believe any of those things are actually true, the definitions have just been expanded to include
EVERYTHING!
Tell a racist joke, you are a racist. BS. You have to actually hate the other race to be a racist, not just laugh at their stereotypes. Some of the
best racist jokes come from black folks.
Love women for their womanly qualities, you are a sexist. BS. Women are different than men, and that is why we love them! It isn't racist unless
you belittle and limit them in some way. It is fine to notice and appreciate the differences.
Think kissing a man is gross, you are a homophobic. BS! You are just a heterosexual, LOL! It doesn't mean you fear homosexuals or hate
homosexuals. In fact, most men that are disgusted by homosexuals are also disgusted by metrosexuals, so it obviously isn't the sexual orientation
they dislike, it is the behavior.
I will say that Christian religious zealotry is on the rise, and it does concern and frustrate me, but I believe it is a direct response to them being
pushed and pushed by the Atheist crowd to the point that they are now pushing back. In my opinion both sides are entirely WRONG! Leave each other
alone. There is nothing wrong with prayer in school, as long as no one is forced to pray. There is nothing wrong with the word
Christmas,
except for the retail side of it.
I don't believe the problem is white America, or black America, or Christian America, or Atheist America, the problem is the politically correct
monitors and press and lawyers that are all making a buck off pitting the different groups against each other.
It is the greedy people that profit off drama that are the problem.
