You guys think the USA is a democracy! LMAO

To have a democracy then each candidate should have an equal chance to win.

Meaning that each candidate should have a cap that is equal to all on campaigning/money/advertising/debating.

Until you have that, then it's just a Farce of democracy. You had two choices. Both choices where and are garbage and are the same choice.

You swallowed it America.....Now Shut up about it and fix the real problem! Meh, or don't!

The only thing I've learned from this thread is that people simply have hardened their hearts.

The OP has repeatedly tried to convey his message over and over, and it's a pretty simple one to understand but people seem to be dead set on adding their own ridiculous reasons for partaking in mental gymnastics.

We know WHY you did it, what the OP and a lot of other people are telling you is (and listen now, before you repeat yourselves for the millionth time) that your vote isn't 'wasted' because your vote MEANS NOTHING. It's WORTHLESS. Do you understand that yet? IT MEANS NOTHING, there I repeated it just like you do!

Do you people have no eyes? It's truly heartbreaking to see so much 'hope' in a politician, a political phoney backed by so much money it could of fed over half the friggin' solar system. But we're to expect he's going to 'help the poor' they just spent over 3 bil on ADVERTS PEOPLE. Come on, I feel like crying, the idiocy of this whole political system is beyond me. You're voting for what? Hope, change? A bigger wallet? A better car? What, what is it you want? If it's a constitutional republic which is fair to everyone and has no 'pro-war' agenda with a big slant towards military spending, then you're about to be smacked in the face. But what makes this so heinous, so absolutely unbelievable, is that people KNOW this is going to happen, they actually know it. People are so scared of 'offending' someone they're going to vote for a 'lesser of two evils' well guess what, that's STILL evil. Better the Devil you know right?

It makes me sick and I feel so, so bad for the poor people YOU guys just okayed to have bombed, once again, by faceless, pilotless drones.
Justify it how you want, you're all criminals now. Take responsibility God DAMMIT. You're about to become the 'just following orders' type people the system designed you to be. Bye bye, ATS I'm ashamed.

Rand Paul endorsed Romney, he basically sold out, if I would look forward to anyone being elected in 2016 it would be Jesse Ventura.

Holy crap i cant believe i just read that. Ventura? Might as well vote for an actual red nosed clown.

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not, but your logic doesn't make any sense. If anything, WW3 now has a greater chance of happening because of reelecting Obama. WW3 if we had Paul elected? No way in hell.

1) im not being sarcastic
2) ron paul wasnt running for president
3) as for ww3 - netanyahu would of made the whitehouse his summer home

Yeah, sometimes its really tough, even for smart people like you and I, to distinguish between sarcasm and ignorance. "Ron Paul wasn't running for president"... then exactly what WAS he doing? Give me a break... you just invalidated yourself.

Just to be fair you should have added Romneys name in the OP too.

I was not fully supporting either candidate, but I would be lying if I said one didn't creep me out more than the other.

I understand they are both ultimately the same thing but Romney seriously "creeped me out" for lack of a better word. At least when Obama speaks you can feel "something" genuine in his words, what that "something" is I do not know.

When Romney would look into the camera I would get chills
not the good kind. When he would speak the disconnect I felt with hm was huge. Just a very "bad" vibe about him. Perhaps he is just easier to read then Obama, but in my opinion Romney came of with a total different "feeling".

Although we did not get Ron Paul where any chance of "real change" would happen, I have to say I am happy that Romney was not elected. I know it sounds silly but part of me feels like we dodged a bullet or something.

Thank you for the reminder.

These days, “the economy” has become a negative term. Why haven’t you gotten a job, sold your home, gone back to school, taken a vacation, or put more into savings? Simple: the economy. That’s all you have to say. No qualifier necessary. There is no doubt that money isn’t exchanging hands anywhere near the level it was back in the mid 2000s, but considering the fallout from those years, all that confidence was never actually based on anything real.Similarly, our negativity isn’t really based on anything real either. I mean, did an asteroid destroy half of the world’s livable habitats? Did aliens enslave us and force us to toil under their commands? Did a new ice age prevent us from going outdoors? No, all that has changed is our mindset.

We are finally beginning to realize that our happiness should depend less on what have, and more upon what we are. In other words, it’s become more difficult to continually buy your way to quick-fixes of happiness. People are realizing that the “keeping up with the Jonses” mentality of the past seventy years doesn’t serve us anymore. We are entering a paradigm shift, one where true success will be measured by how big your were able to grow yourself, not your bank account.

But surely these are some of the toughest times the world has ever faced! Well, except for those who had to live through WWI, the Great Depression and WWII, and that was just a couple generations ago. Head on back to the Bubonic Plague, and hell, that killed off about half of Europe’s population!

Those were some tough times. The times today? Kind of on par with the 1970s oil crisis, and actually, even that may have been worse. So why do the times today seem so bad? Because we’re in it, and with all the sources of information we have coming at us these days, it just seems like the whole world is going to hell. Most news reporting is negative. Why? Because it’s easier to sell the chocolate cake of negativity than the healthful salad of positivity. And no longer do we just get the news in the morning drive or during dinner time—we get it all day long! We are practically swimming in chocolate negativity! And the more you eat, the more you need.

At this point, it honestly should be considered treason. There is enough information and evidence out there that proves that this guy not only should have been impeached by now, but should have never even been able to even run for reelection. Sheep with blinders on.

Well, be careful there. People who defend the shiny golden god Obama will most likely bring up the nugatory argument about how Bush was worse, where were we when Bush was committing war crimes, blah, blah, blah. The answer to that: we were right next to you screaming for his head. Duh. Are you so blinded by your partisanship that you'll hold this Obama guy to a different standard than you did Bush? Are we for real here? Did we not learn a lesson?

You support NDAA, NDRP, the Extension of the patriot act, the 30,000 drones over the us by 2015, the murder of an American citizen in Yemen and the war in Afghanistan.

Is anyone else completely dumbfounded that on a "conspiracy" website, there are more Obama supporters then Ron Paul supporters? What's going on here?

If you voted for Obama, you support the destruction of the 4th amendment. I don't care if you say "I was voting for the lesser of 2 evils". If you want to purge the evil, don't vote at all! Stop playing their game!

Do you guys have any idea what is happening? Do you honestly think NDAA, NDRP, and the patriot act were made for fun? I always get the typical answer of "Well, no one is being arrested so dont worry about it."

I have a few answers to that.

First, the MSM did not cover NDAA. What makes you think MSM would cover the arrests?

Second, what makes you think arrests can't happen in the future? Are you willing to take that risk with your rights and stand by the sidelines and not say anything? Seriously?

One more thing, if you think sacrificing your rights as a citizen for National Defense is justified, your completely off your rocker. Sacrificing civil liberties for National Defense doesn't, and will never work.

Even then, if you care so much about national defense, why don't you want us to come home from Afghanistan, and get us out of 134 countries we currently have bases in?

Gee, what's going to strengthen our borders, Big Brother or actual boots on the ground?

Jesus Christ I don't know if I'm preaching to the choir, but this is just disgusting. How can you people on a f'ing "conspiracy" website willingly vote for a man that has destroyed the 4th amendment?

There is no justification for any of this. You had Ron Paul and you managed to throw him away like trash.

Congratulations Obama supporters, you support Big Brother, The war in Afghanistan, and the murder of American citizens. Let's pat ourselves on the back!

Only you can wake yourself up. No one else can do this for you.

Yep. In the old days EVERYONE who supported a tyrannical leader, would be treated as such and hung/shot/quartered/etc. for treason.

These days, it's the other way around. Speak out and lose your tongue.

I am a liberal progressive and I didn't vote for Obama; nor did I write in Ron Paul. However, I did vote third party. Why do you only mention Ron Paul? Ron Paul was not the only other viable candidate. I think all the third party candidates opposed most of these same things.
