American candidates are all roughly the same, and the hate engendered against them is a dog and pony show to keep the masses occupied. In all honesty, america is so far right, that obama, a rightest, is considered a liberal. Obamas policies as an american "leftist" generally fall in line with Frances far right wing conservatives. He has nothing of socialism, but all of capitalism. Making every american PAY the insurance industry in order to get healthcare is not "socialism", its guaranteed profit for the insurance and pharma industries. Id call it more Tyranny. At any rate, i dont like obama because he manipulated americans into attacking libya, the wealthiest nation in Africa, that was working hard to free the africans from the western controls of the WB and the IMF. He also continues rendition and torture, which he promised to end, continues to restrict americans rights and freedoms with the patrior acts, and shreds the constitution allowing american citizens to be taken with no due process or representation, OR FAIR TRIAL, based merely upon suspicion. All these reasons and more. I dont like any of our presidents, they are all war criminals. Educate yourself. We are the world hegemon, and our powers are used for corporate profit, all our wars are about money and power. Until that ends, i will not support any president elected through the system. There are five, FIVE congressman (/women) that i think are worthy of respect. Everyone else in politics are vultures and leaches. Ron Paul, Elizabeth Warren, Dennis Kuccinich, Mike Gravel, ....and maybe Cynthia Mckinney.

Which words did you not understand?

Which facts are you uninformed about?

Which realities are you denying?

I think we do not see Bush and Obama as same. Probably because we are not biased(unlike American exaggerate things for the part they hate), since the election has no effect on us, but being the closest country, we can see everything that is going on.

What Bush did was much worse and no way close. Obama did go off course and had patterns like Bush but not the same intensity.

And Bush had a good America handed to him when he came to office, compared to a economically fudged America for Obama.

Liked Clinton, Hated Bush, Like Obama, don't know who is next, and I only learned about democrat/Republic in 2008.

You really dont know anything, do you? It really boggles my mind that you could be so ignorant of the facts, yet so sure of yourself. Nothing you said in this post is accurate.

Welcome to ATS.

I don't hate the guy. Hate is a strong word. But the reason I didn't vote for him, is because he's never fought a war.

Oh wow..... REALLY?

That is ignorance encapsulated right there folks

No it's not. How can the guy make a uniformed policy decision about war when he's never served a day in his life?

Well not every world leader has served have they?

It makes no difference at all.

You are not a solitary figure when you lead a country, you have advisors, experts and active military figures advising on these matters.

It's not like he just sits there and flips a coin and says "OK, to war we go"

I don't know, I think Bush played the coin toss game. I didn't like him either.
