Ron Paul was an exception in his generation, one who truly stood for freedom and supported the Constitution. He was the one, old fart who could have stayed.

We got our young(er), hip Libertarian candidate in the form of Gary Johnson, but he didn't get the airtime he deserved.

I will most likely run on a Libertarian platform myself, with specific and mixed solutions for my region as well. I'm thinking mayor or city councilman right now.

America need to become more conservative, that is what the Republicans need to do.

These is to many mexicans and foreigners who should be kicked out of here and put into Kommifornia.

Actually, the GOP made gains in number of governorships, as well as in the house. Many local races nationwide went to republicans.

No GOP haters on here have addressed the regional victory the president won. Look at the numbers outside urban inner cities of Ohio, and tell me what that red is doing on the map, if the GOP didn't resonate with anybody.

As I was reading through the many articles and opinion pieces yesterday written from either outside the GOP or some very interesting pieces from the inside - I thought this very thing

It didn't happen overnight - it was a process. But he and others like him slowly but methodically poisoned their own well. It will take a while - but the true conservatives in this country need to rethink a few things - and speak out against this kind of - what should we call it?

People are also forgetting the consequences of the Census in the House elections. A number of States went red in their Statehouses and got to redraw district maps giving the incumbent Republicans a distinct advantage. It is very unlikely that under the old maps or more fairly drawn maps that the result would turnout the same. I would recommend that Speaker Boehner takes that factor into his political calculations. The people are tired of the sabotage, and want results. They want to be represented reasonably and fairly the rest will take care of itself.

That's because they get the lion's share of the handouts from the federal government. It's a redistribution of wealth from the northern blue states, where the wealth in concentrated, to the South.

Um, it was the British who "made slavery." And most of those slaves went to Brazil, not America. I know, my family used to own some.

Learn some history. Some REAL history, not the censorship and re-writing the GOP would have you learn in school.
