I still believe that CHANGE starts with YOU. I also believe that every vote counts and that we as citizens should ALL use our right to vote, I'm sorry but no youtube video is really going to change that. I believe that every opinion matters, even if you dislike ALL the presidential candidates you can always show up and post a blank vote, that's your opinion too and it counts. Like HEFF said earlier in this thread, if Obama was really NWO why would Mitt (who's backed by TRUMP) even go against him?

Again, the Elites who rule this world are not a monolith. There are competing factions. The faction backing Romney were pro-Capitalist and pro-USA. The Elites backing Obama are NWO (socialist & against US sovereignty).

Obama is a New World Order (NWO) shill who is here to destroy the US as a sovereign nation.

Obama has now been given another four years (at least) to finish the job of destroying the US economy.

Expect things to get very, very bad in the US. We haven't seen anything yet.

Romney would have slowed down our sprint towards the fiscal cliff. Now there is nothing to stop Obama & the agenda of the NWO Elites behind him.

I mourn the death of my country. It will not recover from another four years of Obama.

Most of the US voters are ignorant of what was really at stake in this election. This was the most important election of my lifetime: the fork in the road for the US. The Obama supporters are really clueless. It's hard not to despise them.

It's hard not to be angry with those fiscal Conservatives who know Obama is a disaster for the US and yet wasted their votes on someone who cannot possibly win -- when those votes could have gone to Romney to unseat Obama.

I am disgusted by the treason of anyone who voted for Obama, but most of all I grieve for the death of my country.

bwahahahahaha...

Ahh... the hard right is pretty much dead now in America. and it's a great feeling.

If you truly believe that the NWO is in control and are all powerful - then how would any election have made a difference at all. With a defeatist mindset like that - there cannot be a win at all.

The elite surely exist and exert an undo influence. But we outnumber them by nearly 7 billion. If we get to a rubber hits the road moment - they will lose.

When the NWO get their way (and they will once the destruction of the US is complete), they will control the major banks of the world, the major governments of the world, the major corporations of the world, the major armies of the world, the major water sources of the world, the major food sources of the world, etc.

What will we have to fight back with? They can kill masses by the flick of a switch and they will. Too many "useless eaters" in the world sucking up non-renewable resources & taking up space.

i'm going to sit back in a nice soft chair with some beer and chips and watch the zombies fight each other for food. It should be fun to see the looks of confusion and terror on the stupid sheeples faces when they understand the enormity of their stupidity. but then again at the same time it will be hard not to feel some sympathy for the poor fools, but the majority have already set this in motion and have no one to blame but themselves.

When we speak about the powers that be on ATS, we all know who we mean, even if we disagree as to who exactly is pulling the strings behind the curtain.

I've no doubt the American economy will suffer over the next four years. I've no doubt that employment will pale in comparison with the [insert preferred golden age of prosperity here] years. I've no doubt that more American soldiers and foreign civilians will be killed over the next four years.

However, the government answers to corporations not the other way around. The government bows to the lobbyists not the other way around. Foreign policies are determined by the military-industrial complex and the CIA not the White House.

My question is, why do Romney supporters really think Romney would have been 'different' in this respect? That Romney would have, overnight, managed to not only unravel but get rid of this massive web of corruption that underpins global politics and economics? No man can do this. No party can do this. No army can do this.

All this about 'my choice of stooge didn't win' is bizarre coming from usually smart people who usually see beyond what's being presented to them at face value. Romney supporters, seriously, Obama is the wrong target here, and vice versa. The enemy isn't the political candidate: it's the plutocrats, the multinationals, those who make money from war. They're the enemy here, not just of American voters, but for everyone of us all across the world. It's they that really shape the political policies that determine your life. If you're taking this personally or interpreting this as 'my team lost, I HATE YOU!!!1' then they've won with divide and conquer already: you're actually no better than a mainstream news zombie and ATS is nothing more than FaceBook but with less baby pictures.

Surely it's a good thing that Obama got re-elected?

I don't like the guy, and i don't like what he has done in his first term. But his policies are much more sane than that of Romney's.

The lesser of two evil's has been elected, which is one reason to be happy about it. The US electoral system is a monopoly between 2 parties and it always will be until the voting system changes. If you have no choice but to put one of two men into the whitehouse.... Obama is the better decision.

Honestly... you Americans don't know how lucky you are? Here in England. We are stuck with that pratt Cameron!
The brits are as thick as # when it comes to politics. Half of them cannot be bothered to vote or cry 'what's the point, they are all the same!'
Clearly, they are not the same. Look at Bush. All he wanted to do was fight everyone and cause rucks everywhere. Cameron is no better. Same with the crappy olympics! All that money wasted on some freak that can run faster than me.
And all you can here from Cameron is 'we can run faster than you! nah nah nan nan nah!
Our bumberling, stuttering oposition isn't much better. He just pops ups on tele when he feels like it and we all gasp, 'is that Milliband?' I for one used to be able to name everyone in oposition. but I can't anymore!
Well, good luck to Barak and very well done! At least you can all sleep safely and peacefully in your beds, knowing your President isn't a hairbrained, selfish biggot, who is as far removed from the real world as you can possibly get!
Imagin if the aliens arrived tomorrow and Romney got in? It doesn't bare thinking about!

Best wishes from happiness x

Ps no offence intended.

Im an American Expat living in the Philippines and you know whats sad? I mean really really sad? People here in the Philippines are bragging that they helped Obama win by sending campaign contributions..

Maybe they secretly Hate America and are glad to see it go this direction I dont know.
I mean Romney is an "Obama light" flipflopping idiot.. But can we at least slow down the destruction of the US long enough for people to get off or fix it?

People over here are so proud that he won, and are giving themselves high fives for participating in his election. Campaign contributions, others have said they helped their family vote. "helped" helped how?

It's true, you cant escape stupidity. It will find you and tear you limb from limb, debone you and leave you flopping on the ground like a gutted fish.

But killing stupid is another story all together. The ignorance bread by the hard right lives on in this very thread.

That I am afraid will take time patience and education unfortunately many of them do not want to learn. Ignorance is bliss and they are happier that way.

In the next few years as things get better some will come around but I am not expecting miracles.
For that to happen congress has to stop being obstructionists.

There's little or no value in running against Obama now. Hopefully these idiots on the right in congress will choose to be part of the solution.

If the senate and the President and the polls all agree on something, and the congress blocks it, then things will be worse for the GOP in two years, not better.

Today represents the first day of a new "majority" - the "others".

As I heard earlier:

HW Bush carried white males by 60% and and won easily; Romney did the same and had his ass handed to him. The GOP can't ignore the "47%" and still win elections.

Actually, no. Everybody who voted for Obama is the MAJORITY. That means we are America.

First of all, you are not the "Majority" since well over 90 Million Americans Eligible to vote, did not vote and you are certainly not America. You should be able to do the math and come to your own conclusions but since supposedly 58,339,999 Americans voted for Obama, those who said "No Thanks" to the process/farce dwarf you Obamanoids and almost match the number who voted for both of those Globalist Fronts.

Next, you just think you are an American but for a list of reasons, you are not an American, you and those like you Animals who for generations have signed away any claim you might have had to being an American Citizen and you have by consent and agreement identified yourself as an Animal. Your avatar is very appropriate.

I would provide you with the details to back up my statements but my lack of regard and contempt for you and those like you dictates that I not bother and leave you in your ignorance because you and all those like you deserve your fate.

With All Due Respect...

I appreciate that emotions will naturally run high on election nights, whatever the outcome, and don't want to suppress anyone's opinions.

But the title and premise of this thread have ad hominem written all over them, and I just don't think this is going to end well.

When we start labeling each other like this, all we end up with is flame wars, and that benefits no one, regardless of their views. On ATS, we discuss many controversial issues, but the only way we can do that is to refrain from discussing each other personally, and this simply comes to close to that.

And so, with apologies to everyone who has kept a cool head, I'm closing this thread. As always, if anyone disagrees with my doing so, I encourage you to send me a private message, and I'll be happy to talk about it.

Thanks for the surprisingly numerous polite, thoughtful and considerate comments, regardless of political affiliation, from everyone who made them.

They are very much appreciated, and I hope to see more of them in other threads.
