I thought I had seen an article that said the networks had agreed to shield any exit poll results until the polls in that state closed.

That would be nice, wouldn't it? I still remember a LOT of the networks, including MSNBC, calling Florida for Gore, in 2000, while the polls were still open in the panhandle. I did hear, though, on a good note, that Virginia is holding off on reporting until all of those in line at the polls (as of closing time) have a chance to vote.

In 'swing' states, I doubt they will report in any significance exit polls.. All others, since they already determined them to be 'in the tank' they will push those polls.

And doesn't that sign say right turn only?? And walk this way....

Hee hee. Had to.

I hate this political divide. Seems people hate, just to hate. Like hate is the only thing they feel so they are just going with it.

Tee hee! Now you made me think of something else, that tickles me.....

We all know Clint Eastwood is supporting Romney this election (and gotta LOVE that empty chair speech!). Your "right turn only" comment brought to mind a great line from a classic Eastwood movie, that seems to fit the direction we need to go tonight. "Right turn, Clyde!"

back on topic.

quite the close race so far, although its hard to get any real info since each have their
own way of coming up with the numbers it seems.. every where i have looked they
all have a different score.

Sheesh. I'm starting to freak out. I can't take the back and forth suspense.

Great thread Beezer! I'm surprised no one else caught it for exit numbers and projections either.

Try this one on for size:
Take the Exit Poll!

You have to give your e-mail to take the poll? I guess the real poll results are "the number of people willing to give out their email addresses and get spammed by Townhall".
edit on 6-11-2012 by Kaploink because: (no reason given)

If they do email you (and not sure if they would for this....might be to keep track of people, so no one takes the poll several times), it's very easy to unsubscribe. In any case, can see the hesitation. Last I looked at their results, it was pretty dead even.
