Politics is like watching a football game, you root for a team and hope to win. Or you can sit in the corner and call it all lame.

But who cares right Obama "won".

According to CNN just now - ROMNEY is now leading in the vote count in Ohio! Keep gloating, people. Sounds like a repeat of 2000.

They all did this then, and had to back up in the wee hours of the morning.

It's called cities. Larger population centers have more people. That's just how it works.

Aint it tho?

Romney carried more geographic area of this country and "lost".

Flyover country is at the mercy of the east and west coast where the largest centers of population are

Messed up that is.

Well I have to say I missed for sure. My sense from my peers and clients was this would go the other way big. Crow fajitas for a week and a tear in my beer tonight.
I am curious to see the popular vote count tomorrow.

Divided government for a decided nation

Looking at the cnn map most of the counties where Romney won are at 100% votes counted, where the counties in which Obama is doing very well are barely over 50%. I think it's too close to call at this point.

Cuyahoga County.

Obama will pick up a net gain of at least 100k when they finish reporting that county.

I agree, WAY too close to call! I would have thought the media would learn something from 2000. In any case, I don't plan on sleeping till a LOT more of the votes are in. Then we still have to be sure all the provisional ballots, absentee ballot (especially military!), and so forth are counted. Probable recounts in close states, as either side SHOULD ask for, if it's close. Far from a done deal.

Gotta love the Electoral College. You can win the popular vote and still lose the election.

What a country!

While this isn't related to the Presidency, as it stands right now Puerto Rico is at 63% for Statehood. It looks like we will need to add a star to our flag soon.

yep and within that population density, more people are dependent on social programs that our taxes in all the ahem other counties pay for..

amazing...

It makes sense to me.. I cannot wait til Obama, tries to raise income taxes on the rich, I guess his advisers forget to advise him the rich are rich and do not work...

what that means, is the upper middle class will get higher taxes, not the rich..

Romney was a Vietnam coward, and has 5 coward sons. He calls for war against Iran - This did not help him.
