Verily, verily thou hast spoken. A beer drinker who never went to Belgium is like a Muslim who never did hajj.

Best Sam Adams can't be compared to run-of-the-mill Belgian brews, and there are hundreds.

Please tell me that Barack Obama doesn't have a brother who is a governor of any swing states... it took me 4 years to make peace with the last time.

His brother lives in Kenya, and Obama doesn't run there... So we are safer now.

Obama has the east coast and the middle always goes red. Now we wait for our friends out west. I am afraid that Obama may loose Virginia which he had in 08. I gave my vote and where I voted it was a 99% Obama crowd. Still its early and 1 or 2 % showing is not a clear indication.

I was gonna comment on that as well but thought I'd let it slide. I have friends that refuse to drink Sam Adams because it's too much of a macrobrewery.

Actually Rouquefort #10 is probably one of my all time favorites.

Also, the "go to beer" around here is Alaskan Amber. It's much better than Sam Adams for about the same price. Besides, those boys in Juneau brew some amazing world-class beers!

Also, check out Midnight Sun Brewery:
Midnight Sun Brewing Company

That's the go-to place for growler fills and good grub. They specialize in Belgian Ales ... I like the one called, "Panty Peeler"

And yes, it does work.

I'm so glad I don't live in a swing State. To have been bombarded with all those campaign adds...I think I might have poked my own eyes out with a sharp stick....

Des

Ah Des...too well said. I live in solid Blue. I like to vote anyway, amd there's always the odd ballot initiative anyway. I don't watch television commercials. The few shows I watch are all DVR/on-Demand, so I save myself that, but the radio ads...oh the ludicrous radio ads. Today, I was on the road for about 5 hours total. I decided to go full overload and alternated between Limbaugh & Co, and actually found a left-wing station to alternate with. If ai had to listen to / watch that for months...I think I would poke my EARS out!

A lot of people near me are actually voting for Obama. (I'm in Florida)

Seems that a lot of them didn't want the changes to the health care system that Romney suggested.

I don't know if you're watching Florida but it's amazing, it's constantly changing colors! Currently 53% in and Obama leads again with less than 10.000 votes!
