I am leaving work now.
Going to go cast my votes.
Then I am going to get loaded.
I will check back in, but I refuse to post in a drunken state.

I never post sober.

That actually works... between the cold/flu that I've had for the past two to three weeks, Halloween, and the election cycle - my lawn is overgrown right now anyway! You parking there might just keep the neighbors from complaining.

Oh, the open bar is in the kitchen. Drink up... I told the guy at the liquor store to bill Beezzer

Tequliia Please and if Beezer is paying I want Petrone.

Grab a beer! This is a celebration thread!

Here's to a long night of political hackery by the pundit-pawns and a long political cycle that I am personally glad to be done with.

Cheers!

That was so good I watched it thrice!

Can we just clone Abe Lincoln and bring him back? I like that guy.

I was waiting on line at a polling place near Hampton University and I can tell you that those kids are the tweeters we read about. I even made a joke about them and their hand held devices saying oh its the twitter people. That got a giggle out of some other older folks standing near me and my hubby who are both the older generation now.

Cheers!

I'm just wondering how long it'll be before we all start attacking/defending the winner of this election.

Because, frankly, I'm burned out!

I don't pay attention to commercials as is and I could always find a way around traffic. What really got me were the constant calls (always as we're sitting down to dinner) from both campaigns and people asking how we're gonna vote.

Me too. To the extent that I don't really care anymore. The country will get what it deserves, so what.
My life could turn to worse with Romney, but we'll survive.

I concur!

I plan on watching the results with a room-temp Guinness, enjoy a cigar and let everyone else argue the night away. Sure, I may pop in to ATS from time to time, but we have earned a break from the good fight.

There's nothing else we can do anyway.

Oh say it aint so Beez. I'd hate to think I've wasted good argument on someone too stoned to understand me.
