I have 37,087 ATS Points and I believe I deserve a token of "thanks" from ATS. Yes, that's right I feel entitled to something from ATS, not only because I've been here 2 years as a member but because I love this site and I'd like to share it by wearing a cool shirt.

I travel, a lot, mostly to business events for tech companies and besides the goofy schwag every company gives away at events they giveaway t-shirts. I have free t-shirts from nearly every vendor big & small in the tech space and I do wear them.

The point system on ATS is designed well, like a game board system, but there's needs to be even more incentive to participate (more ad dollars for ATS too); so I think a straight up giveaway system for participants is a worthy goal.

Sure, mailing a t-shirt to Africa, or some far off land where members live could be a bit spendy - but hey, it's worth it to keep top members contributing and the sense of community alive while driving up ad dollars.

Also, I'd like to have the option of a few different designs, maybe something based on forums, with the option of long or short sleeve. Maybe members like Phage get the fleece or winter jacket option, but someone with decent point score at least gets a shirt with more items to own at different point levels.

Anyways, that's what's on my mind right now and I'm sticking to it. (As Jason88 gets banned for making demands).

Maybe if you were forced to post, but you are here willingly.
You don't reward a person for finishing a game because the game itself is already a reward.

Yeah, yeah. I know. But remember when something is free, you're not the market, you're the product. I don't want to dive into the business end of things, but it seems fair to give high preforming members a little gift of "thanks." Plus, I am positive it will drive up the sense of community and give members goals to reach - the same way you're credit card company does it.

I have none, no shame and I'm not even part of that generation! I just think a little personalization from the ownership of ATS could go long way. It's a win/win.

Getting out the black sharpie --- I'll post pics after take the dog out and then locating a sufficiently ratty t-shirt to mark up. "It's real, it's real, it's real."

In all this goofiness, I am being serious though.

Be back in an hour.
