OK ...Political junkies, both left and right, fringe and center...you have all you are going to get before tomorrow, time for predictions and potential bragging rights.

Create your map.

Here is an electoral Map
www.270towin.com...

Also one on RCP..plus state polls for guidance..
www.realclearpolitics.com...

My prediction here...

Popular vote:
+1.5% President Obama

Electoral College:

Romney gets. NH, VA, NC, FL
Obama gets: CO, OH, PA, MI, WI, IA, NV

ObamaBiden: 286
Romney/Ryan: 252

let's try a spin free zone and keep it civil...predictions...not baiting...what you THINK the outcome will be, not what you WANT it to be

Whatever way you slice and dice it, Obamney wins.

So it's a moot point. (IMHO)

Popular vote +4% in Obama's favor.

Electoral College >24 votes in Obama's favor.

I predict Ohio to Obama, and Florida to be almost a dead heat, with Obama just taking it and Romney's folks fighting it all the way to the SCOTUS.

I have it like this ...

Obama 271
Romney 267

Obama gets the usual states .. plus the 'biggies' of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Romney gets the usual states .. plus the 'biggies' of Florida and Iowa.

I also predict recounts for Ohio and maybe Pennsylvania that will last at least a day or two.
But in the end it'll still be an Obama win.

Yes...I agree on recounts, plus legal. I heard that both the DNC and RNC have deployed record numbers of Election Attorneys to the swing states recording everytime a poll worker so much as passes gas, any state that is close is going to court.

If it looks like Romney might lose, the Supreme Court should intervene and declare him the winner, you know, in new American style. LOL Oh yeah, Obama will win, if the GOP has not got their cheaters in high gear.

I'm running through the scenarios that give those numbers, and are you giving Romney New Hampshire, Iowa, Virginia and Colorado?

Interesting picks.

Interesting you called NM for Romney. I was just there on a vacation to Roswell ( fun time ).

I know that this is anecdotal but I didnt see one Obama sign between NW NM, to Roswell, then all the way over to Alamogordo. All Romney Ryan...So you may very well be on to something there.

I think it's going to be pretty close

I am not going to try to forecast an electoral vote count, but something tells me it will be very close and we will see another trip to the US Supreme Court. If that happens, I call a Romney win. I think, for whatever reason, the puppet masters and the Power brokers want him for at least 4 years. (But that is another conspiracy theory!)

The popular vote will prob be pretty close as well...however...

I could be wrong. I am a third party supporter and there are a lot of disgruntled people that are going that way for whatever candidate or write in Ron Paul so it might be possible that the popular vote will not be that close between Romney and Obama.

I'd be really surprised if third parties pick up many electoral votes, but I will be watching to see.

Somewhat related thread

Tomorrow is the big day

The mutterings I have been hearing on the radio, tv, hallways, bathrooms, cafes, my barber...

Obama: 306
Romney: 229

I personally think it'll be much closer.

Now, over at FoxNews -- they are calling it razor-thin with Romney winning.

Many of the polls are biased so it's very hard. I think the smartest thing to do would be average ALL the polls. Has anyone done that yet?

I have to agree with others here that have brought up re-counts. I think this might be another "hanging chad" election.

We have lots of people "observing" the polls, and emotions are high on this election. I predict there will be quite a bit of squabbling coming from BOTH sides over contested states.

I don't think the SCOTUS will get involved.

The most important thing to remember ... Democrat, Republican, Independant or Reptilian is:

Remember to vote! The next POTUS may decide a couple of supreme court justices!

Realclearpolitics averages the polls:
Has Pres. Obama at 0.4 (point 4 of 1%) advantage.
www.realclearpolitics.com...

Nate Silvers is considered the math nerd in polling. He not only averages the polls but weights them by how accurately they have been in the past. Silvers used to do sabremetrics...stats for baseball predictions.

fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com...

By the way...see link above, Nate has the same electoral prediction you do

Wow...

Thanks for the links! I think that places that average polls might be a little closer to what we'll see tomorrow.

To bad by the time the polls here close, we'll already have a declared winner

In NM, Santa Fe is the only place that matters. The rest of the state won't sway the election one way or another.

So, you are giving Romney FL, NC, VA, OH, PA, MI, IA, and CO???

If that happens, then it is true that the polls are truly useless, but I don't think that will happen.
