Well OP... You've done an outstanding job of showing America's faults and why we have problems in our own Human Rights. I don't recall anyone saying the Uncle Sammy Character walks on water, either.

Is there a major power in the world today that is better? I'm dying to hear our 'better' for human rights records and daily conduct for this area. Major power now....Apples to Apples.. Comparing the U.S. to Monaco or Tonga doesn't really count..

I never said anything about the USA being the worst I am simply pointing out that the US is no better than the rest of the world.

I am sick of hearing about how we are so pure of mind and heart and that we never are at fault.

The saviours of the human race we are.

There are places in the world that are worse but my point is that the whole world is run by tyrants and the evils being committed by the US are just as heinous as those happening in china the middle east russia etc etc

Wait a second. Who then is BETTER than the USA, as previously requested? If the USA is NOT ahead of the pack, then who is?

What you refer to as wars, are what I would classify most as "Interventions" -- Somebody has to watch over the Kiddies.

Answer the question please.

I mean if your wealthy want to send European kids to die for world security then by all means do so. You pay a third of the UN bills involving global security and stability, field several air craft carrier battle groups.to protect international shipping, send your kids to be target practice for insurgents so as to keep them busy and you deal with the back lash of taking over for Europe after WW 2 left it in no position to assert its influence on global markets.

You guys are on your feet again. You go back to killing eachother over flags and colonizing everyone you deem savages.

Go to it. Other wise lay off my country. If you had half a brain and spent half the time searching for the real leadership of the NWO you would find it comfortably resting in Europe where it was spawned in the first place.

"Oh lets jump on the US is evil band wagon and forget our own history and unavoidable future by habit."

See your history books about the next hundred years, I bet you wont skip a beat. This is Europes vacation time for world resource rape and people conquest.

You're right. You didn't say we were worse. I hadn't suggested you did. You have made a staggeringly long list of the litany of problems we have and have had over the last couple hundred years. No real context or commentary to match the pages and pages of examples to prove the singular point......but I must say the sheer collection of material makes for a powerful presentation.

What I'm asking though...if we are no better, that's one thing. It means no one else is either. We're equal, at best (which I don't personally agree with on being equal..but we never find THAT agreement, so I won't try) I'm just wondering....do you see others that are better?

Perhaps I needed to ask that in a pure and sincere question, as you might honestly not consider anyone better and truly see all as about as good or bad as anyone else?

If you used some reading comprehension you would see that the point was to show the USA is not any better than the rest of the world

I am not trying to say whether any other country is better just trying to show that the world is all equally crooked

I think you are just making this up. What you really want is to create a U.S.A. bashing thread. We have lots of those. I have been alive in the US for 54 years and have never heard anyone here say the things that you attribute to us.

Oh please every time someone starts talking about other countries here in the US its always with a holier than thou attitude.
Im guessing you are probably a recluse or deaf if you are so blind to this
Who are you to judge what my intent is with this thread
bring the US down a notch yeah felt it necessary
Bash it- not really just pointing out that our tyrant leaders are just as bad as the rest in the world

Yep, Osama was in Iraq wasn't he? Then he was in Afghanistan bunkered up in a hole which had a 4 story mansion build inside.. Apparently there were a few of them.. Nup, a few holes in some mountains and no Osama let alone a Taliban fighter. Justified intervention there for sure and a million plus body count to go with it.. Congratulations on another job well done.

Thats the point. Many governments are evil.

Whats insane (and astonishing) is the US's stance that somehow its not as evil.

But then again, what are they suppose to say: "we're guilty of some of the most heinous crimes against humanity and should be invaded and overthrown".

try visiting the world and seeing for yourself what crap your sticky fingers are typing. Let me guess, never been out of the US yet somehow you know so much about the world.

Get off your ass and take a good hard look at the world before bad mouthing your home you ungrateful little brat.

As far s my avatar, you would focus on appearances and not substance. I know it is cool to bad mouth your country now but how about you seek less acceptance and focus on the truth of the matter. But since you argument is full of BS you have to resort to talking about my avatar. Nice. Childish. easy.

If you don't like it WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE. Leave and come to Europe. See how much you like it.
Of better yet go to a third world country and see for yourself why they are the way they are.

Stop your bitching. Get on a plane and LIVE in another country. See for yourself what your alternatives are.

Oh and please do tell us who is better. what country does not have corruption and bad ways at the heart of it?
Who is next on your list? or did you just copy and paste from only one site with a hard on for the US?

EDIT:
And if you did leave, don't come back. Don't visit. Don't think of us. Enjoy yourself being blind to the things other countries do and crapping on your people. I hope whoever takes you realizes exactly what they are getting.

do the others admit their faults? do they say anything different than the US?

IS France and other countries apologizing for their special forces in Libya and Syria?
Did Australia ever apologize to Vietnam for sending troops with the US to fight and kill Vietnamese or Korea or Malaysia? or for helping the UK with almost every one of its engagements of imperialism?

Does anyone?

I want you to consider that retarded list and check how many were interventions LED by the US by witch NATO or the UN asked the US to carry out security operations in the name of world peace? How many you think were asked covertly by them or Europes power elite?

If it was a NATO or UN mission OTHER COUNTRIES WERE THERE fighting retards, not as observers but with machine guns and fighter /bombers. Who do you think was piloting the UN planes that bombed civilians in Syria and Libya? US fighter pilots? By the way UN air craft call their own targets. They go into a hot zone, but the Pilot chooses his targets for the most part. Yeah.

how many civilians were killed there by UN bombs?

wars or conflicts fought by countries since WW2

Human Security Report 2005

Number of wars and Countries (Top 5)

• 21 United Kingdom
19 France
16 United States of America
9 Russia (Soviet Union)
7 Australia & The Netherlands

www.hsrgroup.org...

notice we are not at the top of that list. It just retarded propaganda that makes our conflicts out to be SOOO much worse than the others because they other guys use water guns and water balloons in their WAR.
It is threads like this that make uninformed people into retards bad mouthing a country no different OR WORSE than the rest.

You don't get to have COMBAT VETERAINS by playing COD and handing out flowers. Blood runs far and wide Bub.

oh and Europe has JUST as much BLOOD on its hands with Iraq. You don't think all those mercenaries were American only do you? You think that ever country from France to the UK doesn't have private contractors there participating in the killing of millions of people?

For your information there are and have always been MORE MERCINARIES IN IRAQ than regular US army. almost 3 to 1 at times. They can't be tried, they can't be held accountable. So the US troops did the mundane tasks and were target practice while the private contractors waged this war. We were just the fall guys.

here is just ONE article if you bothered to look.

It would be nice to celebrate the recent withdrawal of the remaining British troops from Iraq as the end of the UK's direct involvement in the military occupation there. But such festivities would unfortunately be premature.

The killing last Sunday in Baghdad's Green Zone of two armed contractors working for the London-based mercenary firm ArmorGroup by another British contractor from the company, serves as a grim reminder that Brits are still deeply involved in the prosecution of the war.

In fact, with no countries officially left in the so-called "coalition of the willing", contractors are now playing a more important role than ever, as the Obama administration begins to slowly scale back the war in Iraq.

In June, a Pentagon report revealed that there are still 132,610 contractors in Iraq – effectively doubling the size of the occupation – and that the use of armed "private security contractors" in the country actually increased by 23% during the second quarter of 2009.

Here is a list of everybody with forks out around the pie of world war making today. turns out it is the way of the world and not just an American thing.

I've been to the five inhabitable continents and the only time I feel a piece of crap is coming back home, through US borders patrol and customs.

You are a bit high on the hog with the "leave and don't come back" stuff. America is full of megalomaniacs that wreck havoc on the rest of the world. Living in America allows you to keep your enemies closer. The world is a great place and America has the most potential but to ignore the negative things that this country is doing to Earth is just plain criminal.

I can tell the same from your posts as well Mr valient internet "muck racker". Are you saying we killed more people recently because if there is a tally you have going then I would like to know how you missed several CENTURIES of theft murder and rape.

Oh but wait the problem is the US? I thought it was the criminal Bankers cabal Europe gifted the world? No the US did IT? INTERESTING. Missed that one.

I have lived in your crap hole of a continent for five years as well and can't wait to leave. Everyone is lazy and wants to get unemployment, have some immigrant work for them and then bitch about it, and generally talk out of their ass about their superior morals, all the while repeating the cycle of racist socialist rallying political support all over Europe. This time instead of Jews being the boogey men making everyone poor its the immigrants you need because no one wants to sacrifice and have kids anymore. Europeans just want nice cars and great vacations drinking coffee and beer in terraces talking BS about the last political party that"ruined" their already divided and corrupt countries.

So fix.your own houseand leave the US to Americans.

I hate to break it to you but you typed out that long rant based on assumptions for nothing.

I'm not from Europe

I'm from a "peace keeping" nation even though I don't agree with that label as we have lots of blood on our hands in recent conflicts such as Afghanistan and Libya.

Let's just say that many Americans wear my country's flag on their backpack while they travel abroad.

As for cleaning up my own backyard, it is very dirty and needs lots of cleansing and I can easily admit that, can you?

But let's face it, the hatred towards the American government is derived from their foreign policies.

When we criticize your government, we are not attacking the average citizen, and to make it clear I constantly criticize my government and a lot of my general population so let's stop with the baseless assumptions.

eh, whatever. I will apologize even though no one made the distinction of the US government, and the people, OR mentioned their own countries faults.

My bad if what I posted was offensive. I just will not curb my enthusiasm when it comes to anti Americanism anymore. It has a snow ball effect and the US and me personally are living real consequences to it right now. SO.....

yes I am sorry. But No, I stand by what I stated.

If you don't like where you are, then leave. If you do stay, make it better. Talking about morals and conveniently forgetting that the world is as complicit is just wrong. The US is not the whatever nonsense messiah title this thread has. No one is, but on the other hand the US has NEVER CLAIMED such a title.

I am just sick of the anti Americanism that is used to give a free pass to other countries doing the same things, alongside the US or having the US do it on their behalf. My country gets compared to Nazi Germany at the flip of a coin, and I am just sick of it. It is dishonest and has real world consequences.

Mostly I am tired of it because it usually comes from supposed allies.

But It was not my intention to make a half apology. I am sorry if you are offended. I can not help the way I am. That said.

My bad.

Oh this whole thing stemmed from a discussion I was having with a couple friends of mine. Apparently like so many others they feel that the US is pure in heart and deed. I was pretty pissed about the whole thing as you can tell and decided to make my point here. But my first thread got closed because someone "glorified" the nazis in a comment. Second thread was more to the point not mentioning anything that would get the thread closed but instead of discussing the point people want to bicker about who is better than who.

I dont see why people advocate nuking Iran and sit here and call isreal evil or england evil or russia evil when we have our own problems and evils.

I believe people of the world regardless of what nation they are from are basically good and feel that its the government and its corruption that need removed.

Instead of admitting our own faults and relating to the people of other countries most would rather just demonize an entire nation and look at everyone as if they are subhuman

So I figured I would point out just how bad the US is and how it can boast to be no different then any other country

But all everyone wants to do is derail bickering about who is better than who.

Im not as pissed off as I was yesterday though so I'm done arguing about it
