Really, really but you constantly bring it up, can we take that you have now rejected colour as a determinant?

You just stated above that, 'the colour is not an issue' so why are you bring it back? Okay so you said '50+' are black why is 49 not black? Please explain?

At what point if you have a X ancestor do you cease to be the race of that ancestor if your relatives marry only the Y race in the future?

i think they had it at two generations....its very noticeable in the 18th dynasty....akhenaten...his wife nefertiti, their children couldnt be rulers....but thelittle black kid he had with a theban was accepted as ruler by the cult of amun

black females were important....because if you know the religion...the sky goddess gave birth to the gods...the black females were thought to be divine mothers...like the sky goddess nut.

as an ameican..i understand its hard for you to think blacks were pharaohs....but they are not black like any black person you have ever met....

peace hanslune.... let it go

The non-racist people realize that the AE cannot be placed in either catagory, they are neither 'Black' nor 'White', they are ancient Egyptians

Sorry to confuse you but Pharaohs didn't live cloistered lives they were outside a great deal - being as they were the head guy and head priest with many duties to perform

Yes AE men were in the sun alot, which is why they probably used red to denote men vs yellow for women who generally stay indoors more. They used the colour black for Nubians........

Thank you! Dividing ancient Egypt into "black" and "white" is a false dichotomy.

Fyi Hanslune, the depiction of Nubians as black is simply a generalization; an artist's convention stereotyping an entire population. For instance, there is a wall painting in the Temple of Beit el-Wali of a scene with Ramses II fighting Nubians. Roughly half of the Nubians are painted with the exact same color as the king - reddish brown. Why is this distinction made?

All of this nonsense Luxus is constantly spewing out is really tempting me to make a thread on the bio-cultural origins of the ancient Egyptians.

Nah colour is not an issue....but look at this beautiful statue of Pharaoh Khafre, he is clearly a Caucasian...wouldn't you agree afrocentrists

BTW he built the pyramid in front of which stands the Sphinx and many say it was his face which was re carved on it (if you accept that originally it was a lions face that is)

Luxus, please read this thoroughly:

Traits are non-concordant. Khafre's phenotype is not unusual, many Northeast Africans have those traits. This has nothing to do with "Caucasians", stop using outdated 18th century taxonomic classifications.

The earliest predynastic groups in Southern Egypt, along with dynastic Egyptians (both Upper & Lower) show closer affinities with Northeast African populations. Modern Egyptians probably represent the ancient Egyptians the most, although there's not an authentic Egyptian look, considering Egypt has a continuum of phenotypical diversity.

Sure I'll take that as your admission you're wrong - again but not to worry you'll keep right with the same racist nonsense....lol

AE = Ancient Egyptians, neither white nor black, just ancient Egyptians
